The schedule of our planned visit was changed the day before but the guide never came. On the phone, the person from the agency grafted us without warning to another visit, absolutely lame with a guide who had no knowledge, and then changed guide again which was very good. The synagogue was closed on May 1st but that did not stop them from selling tickets, no visit to the Jewish quarter as planned. Really beneath everything.
Great guide Pilu. Passionate about its city and origins, knowledgeable about historical and cultural aspects, details, friendly, correct and continuously providing value to the tour. Voluntary payment more than deserved. 100% Recommended tour and guide.
Muchas gracias por tu valoración. Nos alegra que disfrutaras del tour con Pilu, una guía apasionada y con gran conocimiento de Córdoba. Comentarios como el tuyo son la mejor recompensa a su trabajo.
We booked this guided tour of the Jewish quarter of Cordoba for 1pm. Just before noon, I get a message telling me that the schedule is a mistake, that the tour starts at 12:30. Luckily, we managed to be on time... not our Guide. The agency we were in contact with through whatsapp was telling us they couldn't reach him. We waited 35 minutes, to no avail. The agency offered to refund us, which should be done within 3-5 days according to the email received from TripAdvisor.
Lamentamos mucho lo ocurrido, Sandrine. No es la experiencia que queremos dar y sentimos las molestias. Gracias por tu comprensión y esperamos poder compensarte en una próxima visita.
We were with Mariví, he made us a very pleasant visit, he got us into the history of the city in a very professional and entertaining way mixing academic knowledge with the experiences of living in Córdoba. A 10.
Gracias por tu comentario. Nos alegra que Mariví hiciera del recorrido una experiencia tan amena y profesional.
This tour was disappointing. The guide (Jose or Tema) explained very little about Jewish history of Cordoba or even Jewish life in more recent years. He spoke about himself, primarily. He lacked even the basic sense of history, such as the extent of the expulsion, forced conversion, ececutions of Jewish citizens. Too bad.
Got stuck in traffic and none of the contact numbers replied so lost the trip. Very disappointed and annoyed
Tour took approximately 45 minutes. We joined another tour started before in other places and continue to other places. The guide was good and very knowledgeable.
I definitely recommend it. Despite lasting 2 hours, the time flew by. My daughters aged 12 and 16 also enjoyed it a lot thanks to the anecdotes and curiosities of our guide Jaime super friendly and fun. We will certainly repeat
Thanks Raphael - very interesting stories and commentaries. We enjoyed your tour. We strongly recommend it.
The Rafa guide made it very enjoyable, it is very fun commenting on many interesting places in the area as well as curious details of all the Jewry, highly recommended. We took it in conjunction with the tour in the alcazar.
