Relaxing and enjoyable day out!
I have recently attended two classes with Anita. Breadmaking and Vegetarian cooking. There is no problem booking solo as Anita makes everyone feel welcome and connected. Such an enjoyable, relaxed day with lunch included. You go away with new ideas, a food package and tips and recipes to make at home. Looking forward to more.

So Much Fun
This was my second masterclass with Anita, and it was even better than the first one. I can highly recommend the winter Cooking with Cheese class.
Anita is very knowledgeable, friendly, and totally engages with everyone. I have learnt two main things from Anita: cooking isn't as hard as you might think; and, it's perfectly fine to adjust or modify the dish you are making as you go along.
Finally, don't just think about doing a class - book it!

A Wonderful Bread Making Experience!!!
We couldn’t attend the Tasting Australia workshop ‘Bread: Everything you knead to know’ taught by Anita from The Foodbuilder. Luckily for us Anita was able to organise and run the same session a week later as a private class just for us (two couples).
Anita’s bread making class was an absolutely wonderful experience — informative, hands-on, and so much fun from start to finish. Anita’s, and her helper Martina, passion and knowledge made the session engaging and easy to follow, whether you’re a complete beginner or already enjoy baking at home.
We explored a delicious variety of breads including braided bread, sourdough, rye, pretzels, croissants and more, while learning the techniques to confidently create our own at home. Anita shared fantastic insights into different grains, yeast, sourdough starters, plus plenty of helpful tips and tricks for achieving the perfect loaf every time.
The four-hour class was perfectly paced and included a delicious homemade lunch, dessert, and beautiful McLaren Vale wines from Kimbolton and Dandelion Vineyards, which made the whole experience feel extra special. It was also incredibly generous — we went home with plenty of freshly baked bread, our own sourdough starter, and a detailed recipe booklet to continue baking afterwards.
A truly inspiring and enjoyable class that I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn the art of bread making in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

Bread baking extravaganza
Anita was a great host and was very generous with her time. The experience was excellent, learning to bake bread in different ways and learning the techniques was great. The food was lovely too, and for anyone wanting a getaway from the CBD, it is a great opportunity to do so and enjoy a friendly experience too. Peter was generous with his time too talking through some of the savory biscuits he made, and Jem was a gem! The opportunity was intimate too so was great getting know the others that attended, and allowed for questions to be asked to Anita without it being overwhelming. Would recommend anyone to give it a go.

A fantastic way to get started!
What a great class! I've meant to bake my own bread for so long and finally got around to pressing the start button. Anita is knowledgeable as she is enthusiastic, we learned a LOT and it was a fun day. There were lots of goodies to enjoy there, including a fabulous lunch, and lots to take home even. The class of 6 meant that we all got hands-on experience without being crowded. Looking forward to more!

Bread Making Experiece
We did the bread making course and if you're worried about the length of the course (4 Hours) Don't be! We made so many different things (croissants and pretzels being some of the most delicious) and had so many tasty things that Anita had prepared that it was a lively experience for the entire time and before I knew it we were at the end. I will definitely try some of her other classes.

Anita's Pastry Class - Loved it !
I just loved Anita's pastry class. She was so knowledgeable, friendly, and full of advice. There was nothing better than sitting down to eat what you have made yourself, especially with a great host. Can and will definitely recommend Anita's classes.

Fantastic unique experience!
We had a great time at Anita's Vegetarian cooking class. It felt extremely unique and special having Anita host us in her beautiful home amongst the gumtrees. Bringing the Swiss flair and her extensive experience definitely added to the fantastic afternoon.
My partner is a food/cooking enthusiast and I went along with a basic level, it suited both of us well. I'd probably label it more a cooking 'experience/demonstration' over a 'class' as Anita managed a lot of the actual cooking. However questions are thoroughly encouraged so you could go as deep as you like.
We had an intimate setting (3 of us). I'd recommend it for couples, singles and groups of all ages. Anita brings a very warm and encouraging vibe so it doesn't matter what arrangement you book in.
I bought it as a Christmas gift and reckon it'll go down as one of the best ones! Fantastic value for money. I will be recommending Anita's classes to any family or friends who have an interest in food. Or anyone who likes creating good memories.
