An excellent family experience!

We had an excellent time as a family during this Moroccan cooking class. The recipes are very well explained and, above all, delicious! The atmosphere is friendly and the class is accessible to everyone, even without any cooking experience. My 10, 13, and 15-year-old children participated without any problems and were perfectly able to follow the different steps. Beyond the cooking, we also learned a lot about Morocco, its culture, and even the correct pronunciation of many words in Darija. It was really interesting and that adds a real plus to the experience. If I had to find one small detail to improve: a light background of Moroccan music would have been perfect to complete the atmosphere 😜🎶 A very beautiful family experience that we recommend 100%!

Cooking together in the heart of marrakech ý

I highly recommend this activity. We were a family of seven which included adults, a teenager and child 7years old. Lovely way to spend an evening in an authentic morrocan home. Our hosts Muhammed and Zachary were wonderful. They made us feel so welcome and were so good at engaging and involving the child in our group. Together we created a delicious 3 course meal. Salad as a starter. Two different flavoured tagines. And refreshing fruit followed by traditional mint tea. The atmosphere was relaxed . Different countries and cultures coming together and are united by FOOD! We found out that we had so much in common and lots to.talk about. Our families, films, and football. These guys were the best. And the food...it was the nicest meal we had in morrocco

Very beautiful day

I went there with my children, we didn't really know what to expect and they loved the welcome and learning about spices and especially how to make a good tagine and a Moroccan salad, the little extra was the mint tea. And also this beautiful Moroccan-style culture, my children and I approve of this beautiful day!!!

A great, shorter class

This was a great cooking class! The staff were lovely, it was air conditioned, not too long, and the food was delicious. I made vegan dishes alongside meat eaters which was great for me. They guides/chefs made it fun with guessing games and a tea pouring contest! They were very knowledgeable, and chatty. Fatimah was especially lovely! Didn’t give five stars only because there were some bits that they did for us while we watched. Hopefully they’ll see this and change that. I wanted to get more involved! We had to climb some stairs to get inside - not sure if there was an elevator.

Our favourite thing in Marrakesh!

If I could give this class 10 stars, I would! Food was amazing, hospitality was top shelf, and both Zackaria and Azzeddine were fantastic. They answered all of our questions, told us very interesting stories about Moroccan history, and also had a great sense of humour. It exceeded our expectations! Truly! Thank you so much for a wonderful meal and conversation.

Absolutely wonderful and engaging cooking class

Oh my word! This cooking class is 10 out of 5 stars recommended. Fatima and Zakaria were absolutely stunning hosts and treated us like family from the get go. The food was absolutely delicious , meal prep very organised and atmosphere was relaxing, friendly and easy. Highly highly highly recommend. Thank you for a truly beautiful experience. Only note is- meeting point can be tricky to find so allow plenty of time. Taxis will not get you there as you need to walk to it- all part of the authentic Moroccan experience.

Cooking with Abdo

Activity chosen for a family moment in the company of locals. We were welcomed by Zekaria, then Ahmed joined us to start the activity. The 2 cousins make an irresistible duo! Hospitality, warmth, great open-mindedness, and humor. Ahmed is a good teacher and takes his time to give instructions and a few keys to better understand Moroccan culture. Zekaria, for his part, is the source of laughter. The meal was delicious: Moroccan salad, lemon chicken tagine, kefta and egg tagine, and cinnamon oranges for dessert, which we prepared ourselves and then enjoyed: a real treat. Finally, we learned how to make and serve Moroccan tea while respecting the codes of local customs. In short, the time was fun, the meal delicious, the company excellent, and the moment of sharing memorable. I highly recommend it and will return if I go back to Morocco. Ahmed and Zekaria, thank you a thousand times!

Would do it again anytime!!!

We cooked individually with Abdo. He not only introduced us to Moroccan cuisine but also told us a lot about the country and its people. It was a great experience and is definitely recommended.

One of our Favourite Activities!

My husband and I loved this experience with Zachariah and Azzedine! We both had a lot of fun and enjoyed talking with them both. We were a small group with only one other duo who were French-speaking, but I was amazed at their ability to seamlessly integrate three languages so no one felt left out of any part of the conversation. We enjoyed our conversations and the class was not too difficult but we learned a lot about traditional food. They sent us the recipes afterwards and we even bought a tagine to recreate the dishes ourselves! I would really recommend this to others.
