Cooking Class in the hearth of the Atlas Mountain from Marrakech With locals

Description
Join your host in her kitchen and learn to prepare an authentic Moroccan meal! You’ll be cooking together for about an hour before sitting down to enjoy the dishes you helped prepare. Some dishes for your meal might be prepared in advance. You will be learning to make typical home-style dishes that are seasonal and often feature Casablanca’s local seafood. You might try lamb tagine with seasonal vegetables, marinated and grilled seafood, Moroccan lemon chicken with olives, couscous, tchackchouka (roasted bell pepper salad), camel burger or zaalouk (eggplant salad) with homemade bread. You will conclude your meal with a dessert such as milk pastilla, oranges with cinnamon or Moroccan cakes.

We cooked a simple chicken tagine at the guesthouse, including other visits to the valley. Our guide Mohamed was very professional. Thank you.
We got a whatsapp 1 day before (time:20:45) to hear that we can get on in front of Hotel Ali (near the Jemaa el fnaa square). We were in the Medina of Marrekech, no car could get in or out. Nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. Mustafa picked us up on time, it turned out that we were only two for this shared tour (cooking and taxi only). Nice and quiet we could sit. Along the way 3 stops made for photos (shop). The surroundings were beautiful. The Atlas Mountains with its white peaks. Ayoub (English speaking guide) picked us up and we walked from the village road (short walk) to the guesthouse past sheep and fruit trees. There he translates in the kitchen how we can make chicken tagine with the locals. We also got walnuts from the village and Moroccan tea beforehand. Besides the made chicken tagine, was also bread/large bottle of water/tomato salad. In that respect a very good price/quality ratio. The view of the terrace on the mountains was beautiful. No cars to hear, nice and quiet. Just some birds and sheep to hear. You get a little sense of what it's like in a village. We did not make a trek, but here that was also possible. We drove back in one go. All well taken care of, thanks!
