Itinerary
Begin your evening with pre-reserved entry to Journey Behind the Falls, one of Niagara’s most iconic attractions. Instead of viewing the falls from a distance, you’ll descend through tunnels carved directly into the bedrock behind the Canadian Horseshoe Falls.
Then, follow your guide along the Niagara Parkway toward the boat docks via the scenic boardwalk (approx 1.2 km). Along the way, your guide will share stories of Niagara’s daredevils, its role in early hydroelectric innovation, and the evolution of the nightly light display that has become a signature part of the falls’ identity.
Conclude your evening aboard a special extended Niagara City Cruises Fireworks Cruise, offered only once per night during fireworks season. From the water, enjoy panoramic views of the illuminated Canadian Horseshoe Falls and American Falls.

Could not find the place & just lost out on it all. The address takes you into a $40.00 parking lot. We were clueless.
I am 90% unsatisfied with my purchase. I give the boat cruise the remaining 10% because it was amazing. First, look at the title of this excursion....Complete Niagara Falls Afterdark with Fireworks Cruise. We were searching google for Niagara Falls boat trips and this came up. We were led to believe that this was a boat cruise AND THAT WAS ALL IT WAS. Come to find out, it was a guided tour!!! NOT what we wanted, or needed. I would have never selected this. We didn't know where to go to get our tickets, but after being told to go to incorrect locations 2x by other ticket vendors, plus walking an hour back and forth, we met the tour guide. Only to find out that it wasn't a 3 hr boat ride, it was a walking tour! We had already paid separately for the walk behind the falls and did it earlier. So we overpaid for the 1 hr boat cruise :-( The tour guide, Linda was great, we met her at 9pm, after sitting around for 2 hrs by ourselves. We met Linda and took the 1 hr boat cruise. That is all we did on this excursion. The description is misleading and the information is unclear. This was a very frustrating and expensive experience for us all!!
The tour was very well organized, we had enough time for all different parts, and our tour guide was awesome. Linda had so many quirky stories and showed so much passion for Niagara Falls and for the history of the area. She was so funny! She kept us engaged and interested on the lengthy walk from the falls tunnels down to the boat launch. We had a small group on the tour, only 2 families and that made it nice too. Seeing the fireworks from the boat at the end was a great end to a fantastic tour! It was worth every penny!
They need to provide transportation back to you original starting place. They left us over 1/2 mile from the origin and we had to walk the whole distance after walking for 2 days in tours. No taxis, buses or anything to catch. I was not sure we were going to make it.
The nighttime firework boat cruise in Niagara Falls was such a wonderful and unique experience. Our guide Lynda was very personable and had interesting stories about the falls. You could tell she loved niagara Falls and her job as a tour guide.Seeing Niagara Falls so close at night during the fireworks was a once in a lifetime experience.
Linda was fantastic! Very funny and knowledgeable. The only bad thing was a lack of clarity on where the starting point was- that was a bit stressful but not her fault at all.
Horrible, Greedy, Rude. Do something else.
I gave it 4 stars only because no fault of theirs but due to the wildfires, fireworks were canceled so the boat ride was first then ended at the journey behind the falls. It was a great experience just disappointed and understood about the fireworks however because they switched the tour around. We didn't even get to see the illuminated falls from the boat. Because we went before dark. Our tour guide Donna was AMAZING!! I would book this again in the future and hope for a better outcome.
Viator overbooked the July 4th Fireworks night boatcruise tour; canceling and rescheduling tour late notice morning of the tour. I had booked & paid for this tour in advance to ensure great seating & view for the Fourth of July Fireworks show over Niagra Falls. Instead of refunding, I chose to reschedule the tour the night after. The Fireworks show was amazing with great view on the cruise boat. Our Tour guide with City Tours was very knowledgeable and shared fun facts about Niagra Falls ...
Getting to go through the tunnels behind the falls a bit later in the day was great as there were way fewer people around. Kevin our guide was super knowledgeable about the history of the falls and answered all of the questions people had, and then finishing with the fireworks cruise was amazing!
