Zip lining portion was fun but there were no rapids. The water was low and we were constantly stuck on rocks that prevented us from moving. The "rapid" portion of the tour should be discontinued until the water levels increases. The company knows that the water levels are low and continues to sell this excusion as "rapids". I requested a partial refund and was denied.
We had a great time! The guides were knowledgeable and accommodating of our son with physical disabilities. We all loved it!

Santos and Jose came on time and were friendly and helpful. They took care of our belongings while we did the zip line and tubing and did not rush us or become impatient with us. We had a great family experience.

Went to Costa Rica a few weeks ago. Our tour guide was Steven and driver was Eric. They were the BEST!!! Very knowledgeable and attentive. They made sure we were comfortable and having fun. Steven even took pictures for us. They took us shopping in a local shopping center as well after a day full of adventure. We highly recommend this company and Steven and Eric as your guides. We also booked this company for our round trip airport shuttles. Our arrival fight was delayed until the next day and we were able to contact them via what’s app with Manuel in a timely matter and reschedule our shuttle with no problems.
Everything was amazing. Our driver Erik was fantastic and friendly. He was on time and very helpful.
This excursion was awesome! It’s full of adrenaline! Honestly, we were exhausted when we returned to our resort and didn’t leave the room much but it was well worth it. The activities are nonstop. We started out with zip lining, which I thought was a lot easier and less scarier than I expected (still super fun), and then did the white water tubing. There are waterfalls and rocks to be mindful of but the tour guides were helpful and led us along the way. After white water tubing we were starved! I was pleasantly surprised by the meal, it was delicious! And plentiful, a 4 course meal! After white water tubing we rode the horses. Another cool experience but we cut it short due to all of the bugs. Santos picked us up and was awesome. He stopped by a souvenir shop on the way home and even suggested we get a mud bath. This tour took up our entire day and I wouldn’t change it. Thank you so much to you all for making this a Costa Rica highlight for us! Do take note of the recommendation to bring water shoes. Sadly, I forgot mines but I highly recommend you bringing them for the white water tubing. Bring bug spray, towels, sunscreen, in a book bag and money for gratuities and souvenirs and you should be fine! Enjoy!
We wanted to say that our experience with Guanacaste Viajes Transportation Service was exceptional. Our driver Jose provided every consideration during our 2 hours round trip journey. Jose waited over half the day for us while we enjoyed our Canyon Adventure Tour. Instead of rushing us along, he pointed out additional activities for us to enjoy. Jose is very pleasant and friendly. Offered to take pictures for our keepsakes. Definitely recommend!!! :) PURA VIDA!!!! The Canyon Tour was great as well, everyone was very friendly, assistant along the tour was awesome. Verryyyy fun!!!!
<p>Super fun--A driver ended up picking us up from our house near Playa Negra--Rafting in tubes was the best--need to be in relatively good shape, lasted a long time and water felt great in March.....but a blast! Horse back riding was a bit disappointing--it was so dry in March that nothing was green and no animals around....LUNCH was great! Zip lines were fun--but inefficient with big group.<br/> Definitely something you want to do in Costa Rica though!</p>
<p>This tour is a great way to get in a lot of Costa Rican fun into one adventure. All of our guides from transportation to rafting were knowledgeable, safe, funny and patient! The food for lunch was excellent! Hold on to your glasses during the rafting is our best tip for you!! What a great day!</p>
