A beautiful monument

It is a monument that speaks for itself in honor of the boldest traveler of all time, Christopher Columbus.

View from the top

The small elevator ride and almost a private space at the top for just the 2 of us felt great and very private. The view from there is stunning. A very helpful staff.

one of the significant attractions

Columbus monument is one of the significant attractions you will need to see if you tour Barcelona, information said "The monument serves as a reminder that Christopher Columbus reported to Queen Isabella I and King Ferdinand V in Barcelona after his first trip to the new continent." it's near the coast, when you walked along the La Rambia, you will finally reach this monument

Great Views Of The City

The best kept secret in Barcelona is that you can take an elevator to the top of the Columbus Monument for great views of the city. If the entry door looks closed, try it anyway!

Excessive management costs in buying tickets to monuments in Barcelona

If you travel to Barcelona CAREFUL when buying tickets for monuments. Top-Tour charges you for management costs almost what the ticket costs without warning you of its cost. The website says "official entry" and when the invoice comes you will get the surprise

Operator response

Hola. Lamentamos tu experiencia con Top-Tour pero, en este caso, no es un problema relativo al Monumento...Hay siempre que comprar entradas de entidades oficiales o paginas de confianza.

Well worth a visit

Hidden Gem!! Saw someone mention that this was worth a visit so decided to pre book and it certainly was a disappointment!! The views were breathtaking and really gave you a sense of what Barcelona has to offer. Definitely recommend it.

Alright

The famous monument dedicated to Christopher Collomb. It is located at the roundabout between the Rambla district and the old port of Barcelona. It was built in 1888 for the Universal Exhibition. Inside there is a small 60 meter elevator. A cheap entry ticket for stunning views of the harbor and city. You must book your ticket well in advance.

Beautiful monument

This monument is lovely to watch especially at sundown with all its intricate details. We did not do the wine tasting.

ESSENTIAL MONUMENT

Magnificent monument located at the bottom of the largest avenue of Barcelona Las Ramblas. It is a highlight of the city with its imposing lions all around the statue.
