We are pretty certain you are mesmerized by Split while you walk it's Palace and Roman alleys but how about see it's beautiful coast while you relax on one of the coolest boats you might have ever seen? Panoramic cruise with St. Maria "pirate" boat will give you charming 90 minutes chilling with a glass of wine/juice while passing Split's coastal pearls; from our best beaches, cruising around Marjan hill, our Marina and harbor, view on our Čiovo island and cities close by plus many places of big importants for us locals! Take a look at Split from a "dolphin" view ( sometimes they do accompany us!), make some cool photos on this "pirate boat" and, in the summer, have a swim too! Parents your kids will be absolutely thrilled to be on a pirate boat! The cruise is available also as a Sunset tour so couples what are you waiting for! Tour highlights: Sand Beach Bačvice, Promenade of Split, Marjan hill, Sustipan park, Beach Kašjuni, Tito's Villa, Hermitage caves, Oceanography Institute.
The Riva started to look the way it does today two centuries ago, when the French, in time of Napoleon ruled these parts through Marshal Marmont. Today this promenade is the cities living room, the most popular and most important public place in Split. In the meantime it has been widened and reconstructed several times, but it was always blessed with the most spectacular set, the south facade of the Diocletian Palace, with the entrance into the Substructures, and later on with the buildings that were built west of the Palace, also the Franciscan monastery with the church of St. Francis, and the Bajamonti Dešković Palace and last but not least the Port Authorities building on the east end
Bacvice is sandy beach, with sand being very soft. It is pleasing to walk on it and enter the sea. Water is shallow even 100 meters away from the coast. That means it's ideal for having fun and playing water sports. Bacvice is place of birth of game called picigin, which is part of UNESCO non-material heritage. The game is played by throwing a small ball to the other players, in shallow water. The ball must not enter the sea, and aim of the game is to keep it up in the air as much as possible. Every year in Split is held Picigin World Cup. Croatian team usually wins.
The southwest cape of the Split harbour is called Sustipan after a Middle Aged monastery of St. Stephen under the pine trees, which served as the resting ground to the Croatian Kings. At the beginning of the 19th century Sustipan became Split's first cemetery, outside of the city at the time, only to be demolished, regardless of the emotional connection citizen's of Split had for this location and an extraordinary artistic value of the local tombs, by the communist authorities after the opening of the new cities cemetery. The only thing preserved to this day of the entire cemetery is a Classicistic gloriette. Sustipan is turned into a beautiful park, a genuine little green oasis in the immediate vicinity of Marjan and the city, from its reefs that meet the sea a breathtaking view spreads directly towards the deep sea and the islands in front of Split.
Marjan, the hill that overlooks the city has always been the most impressive part of Split imagery. Such a harmony betwwen natural and urban is rarely found; on one side the densely populated city in all of its glory and on the other a peninsula of almost pristine nature.
Backing onto the pine-covered foothills of the Marjan peninsula, this scenic pebble and sand stretch has an appealing laid-back atmosphere. Kašuni Beach is an attractive beach destination for swimming and sunbathing. More peaceful and rural in feel than Split’s main Bačvice Beach, it is a good place to enjoy a relaxing day out. Bask in the sun and lounge away an afternoon on its tranquil shores. The strip is comprised of fine pebble and sand and is bordered by wooded sloping hills. Also we stop in front of the beach for swimming.

This was a fantastic excursion we found while walking around Split. It was close to our Cruise Ship the staff was very accommodating with lots of room on the ship to find your place to relax. The hostess was always readily available to offer a drink if needed and the stop for a swim was very refreshing
Short walk from the cruise ships. Easy on and off boat. Fabulous views. It was great for a shorter afternoon trip if you need to get back on a cruise. The boat was comfortable and fun! Crew was great!
