Inside the Colosseum you'll walk the same steps as gladiators, emperors, and doomed prisoners. Bloodthirsty Romans gathered in this ancient stadium of death to watch gladiator fights and executions, and your guide will explain every gory detail. You'll enter the Colosseum through the special access gladiator's gate, and avoid the crowds in the general access areas. In addition to the Colosseum, you'll visit the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill (Cesar's Palace). Surrounded by picturesque ruins we'll visit ancient palaces, temples, tombs, the House of the Vestal Virgins, and the Senate house before finishing the tour at the tomb of Julius Cesare. Exotic animal hunts, beheadings, and Gladiator battles were just among a few of the deadly games held here, and your guide will explain every detail.
You'll walk in the footsteps of Rome's most brilliant and also psychotic Emperors as we discover Cesar's Palace, officially called Palatine Hill. Palatine Hill is where Rome was founded nearly 3,000 years ago, and hosts structures dating from B.C. times, through the Renaissance, and most recently buildings built by Benito Mussolini.
The Roman Empire stretched from Iraq to Scotland, and the Roman Forum is where the decisions to control all of their territory took place. The Forum is the epicenter of the ancient world, and along with your licensed guide you'll visit the most important pagan temples and tombs, the house of the Vestal Virgins, the Senate house, and the tomb of Julius Cesare.

Alessandro knows his stuff. Lots of knowledge and very professional. A lot of fun! Would highly recommend this tour...ask for Alessandro!
This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Rome! Our guide was incredibly informative, kind, and made sure to keep a comfortable pace so everyone could enjoy the experience. Walking on the Colosseum floor and exploring the Roman Forum made the history come alive. We learned so much and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rome!
Our tour was cancelled just as we were entering the Colloseum. To no fault of the guide, who was very knowledgeable, the people at the entrance of the arena claimed that our tickets were counterfeit and would not let us in. My husband and I only had one day in Rome to see the Colloseum so this was extremely disappointing.
It was an informative tour of the colosseum and Roman forum. It was very warm, so difficult to continue for 3 hours. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. This tour would be best in early morning or late afternoon due to the summer heat.
Guide Eugenio was late, tour was supposed to start and 9 and didn’t start till 9:30. We spent first 30 minutes outside of Coliseum learning the history which was interesting. We were supposed to spend 90 minutes in Coliseum but only spend 60. Myself and another person n ended more time to walk and needed to continuously add guide to slow down. Miscommunications during rest of Tour.
Elizabeth was a great guide!!! She was very informative and took her time to answer questions from group! A tour is definitely worth the money!! It helps tell you what you’re looking at, otherwise it would be lost. Don’t hesitate and book the tour!
Amazing experience, I would highly recommend it. Elizabeth was a great tour guide!
