Itinerary
We will pick you up from your hotel around 4:30 am and drive south from Cusco city. The trip will take 2 hours to the community of Cusipata where we will have our breakfast to fill with energy, then continue for 1 hour. further up to (Pulawasipata) approximately 4,600 msnm where we will begin our trek along an easily accessible path for approximately 1h30 and reach the magical Mountain of Colors where we will enjoy magical landscapes such as snowy mountains, small lakes and local fauna such as mud. located at approximately 5,036 msnm. After enjoying the wonder that our mother nature presents us, we will return by the same route, where our transportation awaits us, which will take us in 45 minutes to the place where we will have lunch. Later we will return to Cusco, we will arrive around 4:30 pm.

We made a cuzco trip in July 2026, where we met cuzco and made several tours through the region, Sacred Valley, Humantay lagoon, Machu Picchu and Colored Mountain. All the tours were organized by the company Exploring Peru tours in the person of Julius, a phenomenal guy who made the trip even more special. All the tours were conducted with prepared guides. We highly recommend!! We will be back for sure.
We had a wonderful experience in Peru. They took care of all our organization in Cusco. We visited the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Humantay Lake, and the Mountain of 7 Colors. Everything was perfectly organized and the coordination of each activity was excellent. The schedules were met and we always received clear information about our itinerary. The guides, especially Julio, were very kind, professional, and shared very interesting information about the culture and history of each place. Departure from the hotel 4:00am (order at the reception a box breakfast box). Stop for simple breakfast. Arriving in the mountains, there is a bathroom (2 soils), a small Saude Post and shops. Climbing by ground beaten and very cold. 1st flat stop for photos and who can, can go up a little more to 2nd flat stop that has lamas (the $$$ contribution is optional). There's a plate for the panoramic photo. The guide offered us fragrance Jona to help in altitude. Return with lunch stop at the same place as breakfast.
