Colmar Self Guided Walking Tour and City Exploration Game

Description

Colmar becomes an interactive treasure hunt. Most visitors see Colmar from a day-trip bus between two Alsace villages - this walk gives you the town itself, at your own pace. Follow a route from the Koifhus and the little Manneken-Pis along the Rue des Marchands to the canals of La Petite Venise, out to the Bartholdi monument and back past the Unterlinden Museum to the Maison Pfister, and at every one of the 12 stops answer a quiz question you find in the surroundings - the clue is around you, not on a screen. Sightseeing, a continuous story and a light brain-teaser rolled into one, played at your own pace on your phone: in the browser with no account needed, or in the CityWalkGems app (Google Play). No live guide: just open the link and start exploring. Perfect before or after the Christmas market, or in the hours between two trains.
