Be transported behind the Iron Curtain to a divided city of spies, intrigue, and clashing ideologies – all from the comfort of your own home using your computer. Travel the world safely, responsibly and sustainably, and interact live and in real time with a local to discover the German capital's rich culture and Cold War history. This is a live virtual tour from the streets of Berlin– our professional local tour guide will meet you virtually via the Zoom app and take you on a private tour where you can ask any questions you like. The entire tour is interactive and we will be showing you relevant historical photos and videos as well to enhance the experience. The video calling software used for the tour is called Zoom. You will need to have it downloaded on your laptop, tablet or cellphone – with a connection to speakers or headphones – in order to participate in the tour. Gropius Bau
Your virtual experience begins at one of Berlin's premier, and most beautiful, art galleries – still bullet-scarred from the Second World War.
Topography of Terror
We then make our way to the dark heart of Nazi Germany at the former SS and Gestapo headquarters, and walk along the most brutal symbol of the Cold War – the Berlin Wall.
Trabi Museum
Next we head to see a fleet of Trabants – East Germany's mass-manufactured 'cardboard car'.
Checkpoint Charlie
We then cross the border at the most famous crossing point over the Berlin Wall, where a tank standoff in 1961 had the world on the nuclear knife-edge. We end the tour at the excellent 'Black Box' exhibition.

Great Cold War Experience.
Taylor was a fantastic guide. We learned a lot and a grateful for the experience. From the comfort of our house, we were taken to see some important sites of the Cold War.

Great Tour!
This was a great tour and our tour guide Taylor was fantastic. With traveling so risky right now during the pandemic I would highly recommend this virtual experience.

Perfect way to spend at home.
It was interesting and an amazing way to spend time at home during quarantine. The guide Taylor(I hope the name is correct) has great knowledge and nicely guided us the city. Because of this virtual trip, now I have ideas what I wanna do in Germany in the future! That’s a lot Taylor!
