Experience the thrill of claybird shooting with our qualified instructors. There are a range of guns available including: 12 gauge under and overs. 410 Shotguns are available if a smaller gun is preferred. All safety gear is provided. Our facility is set in the stunning native bush overlooking beautiful Lake Rotorua. Travel up Mount Ngongotaha to the shooting facility in our 4WD buggy which seats up to 5 people - an experience not to be missed!

Amazingg
My team and I did the archery, claybird shooting and 4x4 buggy ride, and it was amazing, to say the least! We all had an incredible time.
My favourite was definitely the claybird shooting. I was honestly terrified to try it, but a huge shoutout to the crew !! They were fantastic at walking you through everything, making sure you felt comfortable and confident throughout the entire experience.
Such an awesome day, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, exciting experience! 🙌

Awesome 👌
My husband took our son their for his 14th birthday. They both did the slug shooting and archery. They had a great time, staff were so friendly, polite and helpful. My son came home with the biggest smile. Thank you for making it special.

Experience what it takes to represent your country in this Olympic recognized skill.
Awesome first time experience. Met with happy, helpful people. Obliging and relaxed. Went solely for Clay shoot, but we decided to experience the archery. Such a cool day. Thanks to Jason for his professional approach to the safety protocols of firearms, and teaching skills, as well as Danny, in archery. Both events will be cherished. Nico & Melinda😃

Clay Bird Shooting Experience
Awesome experience! Our guide Peter was great. Very friendly, funny and informative. Would definitely recommend even for beginners or if you've never done it before! Reasonably priced and good fun!

A Perfect Shot of Adrenaline
Such an amazing clay shooting experience - easily one of the best things to do in Rotorua. Everything was well run and so much fun. Peter was an incredible instructor - patient, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel at ease. We even had the whole place to ourselves, and the view from the hill was beautiful. The added buggy ride to the location really amped up the thrill too. Highly recommend!

First Time Shooting – Loved It!
We had such a great time at Claybird Shooting in Rotorua! The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, making us feel safe and comfortable even though it was our first time trying this activity.
The instructors gave clear and easy-to-follow guidance, and the whole experience was very well organized. It was exciting, challenging, and surprisingly satisfying when you hit the target!
The location is also beautiful, surrounded by nature, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Everything was well maintained and run smoothly.
This is definitely a must-try activity if you're visiting Rotorua and looking for something fun and different. Highly recommended for couples or anyone wanting a new adventure!
