Our trip was a summary of ancient Greek history. Our guide, Fontini, was extremely knowledgeable and included many stories and anecdotes. She really made the tour special
Tour was excellent. A very good value for money. Could not recommend more. The guide, Dominique, kept everything on schedule and adapted for traffic conditions. She had a deep knowledge of all pertinent subject matter, and was passionate about the sharing. The bus was comfortable, and meals and hotels better than expected.
It was a very well organized and packed tour. We really enjoyed it very much. we have learned so much during these four days. The towns , sites we went are all world famous with the breathtaking views. We also had good food and nice hotels . The tour guide is very knowledgeable and he provided a lot of information that we can’t find on the internet or tour books. We will highly recommend it to everyone.
This was not an enjoyable tour. Guide gave no practical information in advance but then lectured for hours often in the sun before allowing 6 minutes free time. Never again.
Really enjoyed Mycenae, olimpia, Delphi and meteora. The guide Cassandra was fantastic as well as bus driver George. The hotels were up to standard except perhaps the one in Delphi. Breakfast and dinners were good, however I thought they were touristy and not as good authentic Greek food experienced in my travels throughout Greece. I didn't like the fact that for lunch we didn't have a choice of where we could eat but were forced to eat where we were taken in isolated restaurants instead of stopping in towns where we could choose some very typical local restaurant eg. In Delphi there were some great little local places to eat instead we were taken to some isolated touristy restaurant. The last restaurant after meteora visit the food was terrible.
