Classic Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu 5 Days

This was the most amazing trip we have done! Carlos was our tour guide and he made the trip absolutely perfect. He taught us so much about Incan culture and history and answered all of our questions along the way. He is extremely kind, patient, and encouraging! This was our first trek and having Carlos to help us was the best experience ever. Every meal was very delicious and came with soup and protein for each lunch and dinner. We also loved sleeping in the glass domes every night! Our group was 7 people which was intimate and allowed us all to bond and enjoy our time together. We received more than what we expected for the value (5 day trek) and I recommend this experience to everyone. Xtreme is a very well organized company and we felt lucky to be part of their group. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would 😻

A very beautiful journey with very professional guides like Henry Quintano and Agapito who taught us many things about the Inca culture.

Giancarlo was our guide and he was great. We had such an amazing time and enjoyed the sweeping landscapes of mountains, rivers, and wildlife on the trek. Made great friends with our group and had some amazing food from our cook.

The guides in particular, Darío and Cristian, were excellent. The cooks were always offering their best to please us. I felt very supported at every moment.

We had 5 fantastic days during the 5-day Salkantay Trek with our wonderful guide Nestor Guevara and chef Alejandro. During the whole trek, the overnight stays and meals were excellent. Nestor is a fantastic guide who has taught us a lot about the flora, fauna, history and local customs of this beautiful area. His knowledge, enthusiasm and commitment made the experience extra special. Because it was high season, it proved difficult to get a ticket for Machu Picchu. The organization even offered us a fully catered extra day. Unfortunately, due to our planning, we only had limited time for that. Yet the organization did everything possible to arrange a ticket for us within our 5-day trek. Fortunately, we succeeded! We are extremely grateful for the commitment of the entire team and look back on an unforgettable experience. Definitely recommended!

We had an amazing experience on the 5-day Salkantay Trek with Xtreme Tourbulencia. The scenery throughout the trek was absolutely breathtaking, and everything was well organized from start to finish. A special thank you to our guide, Dario. He was incredibly kind, patient, and always made sure everyone in the group was doing well. He shared lots of interesting information about the mountains, nature, local culture, and the Inca history along the way. His explanations at Machu Picchu really made the visit even more meaningful and helped us appreciate the site so much more. The trek was challenging but very rewarding, and we always felt well looked after.
