Classic Inca Trail to Machu Picchu

Great team (our guide Josep and chef Bicente), beautiful views et great hike. The hike is surprisingly challenging and quite fast.

Our tour guide Grober was amazing! He was very friendly, knowledgeable and understanding. We had a superb short Inca trail with Grober, he was an excellent tour guide, showed us some amazing things and told us some really cool facts about the land, culture and history. I would do it again with him as a guide. Thank you Grober and Sam Travel for an amazing once in a life time experience.

We did the 2-day Inca Trail and it was such a special experience, especially as it was just my boyfriend and me. Having a private experience made it feel even more memorable and personal. Elias Usca was amazing! He helped me through every tough area of the hike. The hike itself was beyond belief. Every turn had an amazing view. We had a comprehensive tour through the history of the Inca civilization!

Grober was an amazing guide on our two day trek on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. The day started with Grover and Lewis picking us up and taking us to the train station. The hike started and was an amazing experience. He was so supportive and encouraging and helpful during the entire hike he is also an amazing photographer when we were when we came to the town he helped us get settled in the hotel and took us to a great dinner. The second day tour of Machu Picchu was amazing as well. He again took the time to explain to us the history of the people and history of Machu Picchu and also took amazing pictures. If you were looking for a tour guide Grober is your guy.

I’ve traveled a lot throughout my lifetime. This trip was challenging, mentally and physically. I know in my heart that I would not have made it through the tough times without our fearless leader (Guide) Josep! From day one, he was honest, clear about what we needed to accomplish and therefore us during the hardest and most challenging moments. The cherry on top was his amazing personality, wisdom, and charm. The others that need to be acknowledge are the porters (ALL 12) and their champion, Cesar! His porters are superheroes I felt tumbled knowing I was carrying a day pack and they were carrying 4 to 5 times my weight with ease and commitment. Last answer certainly not least was Chef Mario! How does a man make a beautiful cake with a Bunsen burner and a pot, look and taste so amazing. We told the man he should make a cookbook and we mean it. Bottom line this adventure pushed me to my limits and if not for my amazing friends and Josep and the rest of the team, I wouldn’t have this Lifetime memory! Thank you, team and family Mac!

It was awesome Joseph was the best of the best !! Mario his food was amazing and he put such great creativity in it !! Cesar and group worked so hard and did a great job for us !!

This was an incredible experience. Our guide Josep was wonderful and so knowledgeable. Mario was an amazing chef and everything we ate was delicious. Cesar and the rest of the porters were wonderful and this trip could not happen without them. I highly recommend booking this tour.
