Description
Drive through the old town and through the unique history of Nuremberg. From the main market with the Beautiful Fountain past the Maxbrücke, the St Lorenz Church, the Holy Spirit Hospital and up to the Imperial Castle with its fortifications. Everything can be admired from the comfort of the train. Along the way, you will learn funny and interesting things, ancient and current, shiny and possibly also cruel, romantic and spirited things about Nuremberg and its inhabitants. On this tour, you will experience the Unpacked centuries in about 40 minutes and then explore the city on your own. It wasn’t much. The seats are too small if you are tall or even 5’7. It was a recorded tour with very little interaction from the guide.

All our trains are equipped with a state-of-the-art GPS-guided audio system, which is able to provide information in several different languages, right when the train is passing the respective points of interest. Occasionally, you will hear the train driver welcoming you on board when he starts the engine, but during the ride he has to focus on the traffic in order to secure everybody's safety. Very nice tour, too bad that train was covered with the warm weather, because it was very hot outside and also in the train itself. All in all a nice experience

Fun little tour to get acquainted with the city and its history. Much to visit and this was a great starting point.

Drives unnecessarily in the center at times. Where traffic lights hold you up and there is a lot of. Traffic. Valuable time is lost completely silently without information.
Schade, dass es Ihnen nicht so gut bei uns gefallen hat. Ganz stumm kann ich nicht verstehen? Und natürlich fahren wir im Zentrum?
It makes sense to book online in advance, as the train was fully booked. Everything worked out wonderfully. We received the tickets and our headphones on-site. We liked the explanations and stories during the trip.

Always interesting for children to explore the city by train, and the travel time is not too long.

Unfortunately, it was way too loud due to the speakers. A tour for children in child-friendly language would be super cool.

Damit nicht alle Fahrgäste Kopfhörer benötigen, wird der deutsche Audioguide in der Regel über die Lautsprecher abgespielt. Insbesondere für Kinder und Fahrgäste mit Hörgeräten stellt das an sich einen Vorteil dar. Da sich die Bahn teilweise über Kopfsteinpflaster im Stadtverkehr bewegt und während der warmen Sommermonate alle Fenster rundum geöffnet sind, wird die Lautstärke so eingestellt, dass die Erklärungen trotz möglicher Umgebungsgeräusche während der Fahrt noch gut verständlich bleiben. Wir würden uns jedenfalls freuen, Sie dennoch wieder einmal bei uns begrüßen zu dürfen. Vielleicht wenn es etwas kühler ist und die Fenster geschlossen bleiben können? Die meisten Kinder haben großen Spaß an der Fahrt mit der Bimmelbahn, auch wenn die ganz Kleinen es manchmal nicht schaffen, die gesamten 40 Minuten lang aufmerksam der Erklärung zu lauschen, da die Fahrt an sich oft das spannendere Erlebnis ist.
