Excellent tour guide, knowledgeable, funny and very personable. Highly recommend visiting Philadelphia and seeing the historic highlights by utilizing the hop on , hop off bus tour.
I would recommend the two-day pass; it is a great value! Use the first day for an overview and seeing some of the sights - I believe there were 26 stops. Use the second day to catchup or simply getting around the city.
Our guide Bill was very informative and even funny. There were 26 total potential stops. You can stay on or get off where you want.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! 😊❤️ We’re delighted to hear that you had a great time completing the full loop in New Orleans and that our friendly staff helped make your experience even better. 🚌✨ It’s fantastic to know that you enjoyed the narration and learned so much about the city along the way! 📚🌆 Thank you for recommending us to your friends. We hope to welcome you back on board for another City Sightseeing adventure soon! 🌍❤️
Great experience and a fun tour guide. I enjoyed the scenery and the staff was super friendly. Very helpful to me.
My family of three (parents and 17 yo) booked the hop-on, hop-off as we only had one day in Philly and we wanted to get an overall sense of the city, and see a few key things. This was exactly that. Guide and driver were phenomenal. Our only issue was being able to hear the guide at the back with the engine roaring. We had to move up when seats were available. Highly recommend.
Shocking service Never used our pass bus never arrived No refund Very hard to contact No one responded to messages
Great intro to the city ( if you haven’t been there before). Nice combination of history and folklore.

They canceled last minute and didn’t even notify me. Me and my family were standing outside waiting until I called
advertised as hop on any stop but then must exit at specific stop to get prepaid online ticket validated. time tables differed between website and printed map. lost over an hour waiting for a bus that didn't arrive as scheduled.
Thank you for sharing your feedback about your experience with City Sightseeing Philadelphia. We are sorry to hear that several aspects of your hop-on hop-off Philadelphia bus tour did not work as expected, particularly regarding the ticket validation process and the inconsistencies between the website and printed timetable. This is not the seamless experience we aim to provide, and we understand how this can cause confusion and inconvenience during your visit. We also regret that you lost valuable time waiting for a bus that did not arrive as scheduled. Reliable timing and clear operational information are essential parts of our service, especially in a city like Philadelphia where guests rely on the bus to plan their sightseeing efficiently. Your comments will be shared with our local operations team to review both the communication around ticket validation procedures and the consistency of timetable information across all platforms. Despite these issues, we hope you were still able to enjoy some of Philadelphia’s highlights along the route, such as the Independence Hall area, Benjamin Franklin Parkway, and Penn’s Landing, which are key parts of the City Sightseeing experience. Thank you again for your honest feedback. It is very valuable for improving our service.
The historical tour was good but had a hard time finding where to start and how to show tickets on phone. Also since I use a cane I could not go to second floor of Betsy Ross House or First Congress Hall. My son was disappointed not to be able to see Independence Hall as we didn't know about coming earlier in morning. Was glad to see Liberty Bell. The talk on the bus was especially good. I would not advise anyone handicapped or using a cane to try this tour.
