I booked this for my two kids (10&5) really. It was ok, they seemed to enjoy it. Pretty basic experience. Our host taught us all some interesting facts about chocolate which was good. All staff were super friendly and helpful. Museum is damaged and not really a museum. Overall, something fun for the kids but wouldn’t repeat it and certainly wouldn’t go out of your way to attend
We had a great time making the chocolate bars and learning about where chocolate comes from. It was a great experience. We are a family of 3 and our son is 14. This workshop is teenager approved!
This was a fun family experience, but it was an expensive one. You can save a significant amount of money by purchasing the same chocolate-making experience from the store. While we had a good time, we didn't feel the experience offered good value for the price. That said, you do receive a generous amount of chocolate to take home, which helps offset the cost somewhat.
The person leading the workshop was great & it was a fun experience
We were delayed and unable to attend Multiple efforts by us and Viator to reschedule went unanswered- phone email etc to reschedule NO RESPONSE from the tour event operator Very displeased
We had a great time. It was both fun and educational. The chocolatier was well informed. We would definitely recommend this activity.
Great experience, very easy, fun and chocolate tastes amazing. You created your own creations with lots of lollies, nuts etc. I would of loved banana lollies that would of been sensational
Vastly overpriced and a complete waste of our time. 10 of us at a table so very squashed. Suited for children under 5 possibly. A glorified mould that you fill with your chosen chocolate from a fountain type thing and then decorate. To be honest the chocolate tasted very cheap too. The hot chocolate making was literally adding cocoa, sugar and powdered milk with water, that incidentally was lukewarm by the time it got to us.
We leaned about making chocolate bars, more like decorating after the chocolate was already prepared. This would be a great class for families with children.
You don't make chocolate, you use their chocolate to make bars. Mine got wet and then broke. They made me 1 replacement bar and made a big deal about replacing the other. It was an ok experience but a bit disappointing - particularly the mediocre customer service.
