Description

Chocolate is a technology 5,300 years in the making. It is currently going through metamorphosis unlike anything it has undergone before. This tour celebrates chocolate in all its forms; join us to enjoy something unexpected alongside your all-time favorites. We visit bakeries, chocolatiers and specialty shops, tasting flavor and styles from across the globe. But why Seattle? Cacao does not grow in Washington, nor do we have your own distinct style like that in Belgium or Ecuador. What Seattle offers is a culture that honors tradition while striving for innovation. We value the integrity of ingredients and supply chains, but we see no ‘rules’ in how something should be done. We break the mold of what people think chocolate is and of what it can be. You are living in the Golden Age of Chocolate.

It wasn’t all about...

It wasn’t all about chocolate. There were also other deserts. Two different hot chocolates were tasted at different locations. Woody was a A+ guide.

Yummy Chocolate Tour

We had a great time on our chocolate tour. However, I recommend that they skip the black truffle stop and add another chocolate stop. Our guide was very nice, but I would have liked her to provide more information about Seattle and its history.

Outstanding

We purchased the chocolate tour as a Christmas present for friends. We all loved it. Ivy, our guide, was a delight—knowledgeable, sincere, and very ready to engage. We are semi frequent Market goers but Ivy took us to places around the market that we were not familiar with and they are definitely experiences that we will want to try again. Really nice job.

Best Chocolate Tasting Tour

This was an absolutely wonderful tour. about 2 1/2 hours. Will, our guide, was very knowledgeable and was very careful with potential food allergies and preferences. We tasted a wide variety of chocolate items. It suited me (an old guy) as well as my 11 year old grandson. We did a tour (not sure with who) 10 years ago, it was OK, but not kid friendly. THIS tour was SO much better than before. I highly recommend it.

CHOCOLATE!!!

With Will as our guide (he was so friendly, and well-versed on all things chocolate!), we tasted quite an array of deliciousness, including things that I might never have tried on my own...Will wrote down the list of places we hit and the things that we tasted so that I can go again when I'm back in Seattle. I highly recommend this tour to any chocoholic with an adventurous spirit!

Fantastic, fun tour of Pikes Place Market area

We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Ivy, was fantastic, friendly, and gave us lots of background information on Pikes Place Market that I didn't know before. We took our 8-year-old son and he was entertained the entire time. I liked that we were given foods to try that weren't chocolate as well to mix things up a bit.
