Chocolate, Conversation and Culture
Outstanding job with Esteban! He is a very intelligent and insightful guide. He explained the area in Bogota and the differences of US vs. Columbian culture.
The chocolatier was a real master, Lizeth knew exactly what would interest and excite our palates. She provided excellent explanations into how those tastes are made.
The driver was prompt and the experience was a pleasure.

I loved the chocolate tasting experience, I could learn a lot about cocoa, its varieties and above all I had fun. The explanation of the guide was ideal and the place is very nice, I recommend it without hesitation

Chocolate sky
This was a wonderful day with a knowledgeable and skillful guide. She knew a lot about chocolate, both history and flavors. I got to taste three different chocolates (which I brought home afterwards) and bought in the store after 'chocolate-school'. If you are interested in chocolate, I can recommend this half-day with a knowledgeable pleasure about chocolate.

Educational
This was some great hours with chocolate-eduacation, Juliana talked a lot about chocolate and the history about it. The tasting experience was very good and the chocolate store , Republica de Cacao was very delicate. So delicate that i bought a lot of chocolate there, and with good offer. I can recommend it, only, if you are deeply interested in chocolate and when and where it all begun. Thank you.

Chocolate and more
On its own this tour is interesting because it allows you to know and thanks to it appreciate and taste much better a good chocolate, however I rate this tour as Excellent thanks to the magnificent guide that accompanied us. Marcello Bitti. The tour was not only limited to chocolate tasting, on the way from the city center to the chocolate shop and back we had extraordinary and profound talks about life in Colombia, both past and present and the challenges faced by our Colombian brothers. With Marcello Bitti, my trip went from a visit to Bogotá to meet, to a crush on this city. Marcello’s good recommendations and his passion and love for Colombia allowed us to know and understand the Bogotano of yesterday and today. Thank you very much Marcello!!!

It was a good tour
This was the last tour on our trip, and we would have liked it to have been better. The first “guide” ,Juan Pablo, was fine but it seemed like he was there more to transport us than to teach us about chocolate. We meet with another guy at the chocolate store ,John, who actually gave us the tasting and gave us the history about chocolate. He was quite personable and easy going. There was also a miscommunication between Hansa Tours and the chocolate store, so they didn’t know we were coming. John was the only associate at the store so he had to give us the tour in between customers which detracted from the experience. I would recommend saving your money and just going to the store yourselves and asking questions. They have great chocolate and free tasters at the store. Also with the tour being late and not set up right we thought we would say our goodbyes and that would be that but Juan Pablo actually mentioned a tip when we got to our hotel which was a little uncomfortable.
