Chobe Safari Experience Day Trip - MINIMUM 2 PEOPLE

Safari Steve is great! Organized, considerate, fun, and thorough. We met before sunrise in Livingstone, took the drive to the border, Steve was great to help through the process, boarded the safari vehicles, then went to Chobe. Blankets and snacks were provided. The drive in August was both beautiful and chilly. Upon arriving to Chobe, we were immersed in the landscape of the national park with eyes wide for wildlife sightings. We had a large group of 3 vehicles. We saw numerous giraffes, elephants, a lioness with cubs and a day old kill, another on the hunt, a wild dog, the beautiful Lilac breasted roller, kudu, impala, hippos. We would do it again and would plan for even more time! Mid-morning, we stopped for coffee and a restroom break. Steve was gracious to answer questions and offer insights. It truly was a joy. Then, as we were exiting Chobe, another vehicle was stuck in the thick sand. Steve and his crew immediately disembarked and aided the stuck vehicle. In fact, one of our group’s drivers stopped to checked on the stuck vehicle initially. A great experience!

This year was my 5th safari with African Safari Experience and each time there is something new to see and learn. The expertise of the guide and driver is top tier. They know exactly where to go, and when, to try their best to see all the animals that are hard to find. A safari is fun, the animals are amazing, and the views are breathtaking… but the thing that makes a safari so special to me is the people. Aside from going with my family each time - Steve is a phenomenal guide. He’s so fun and makes the trip memorable! We’ve also gone with Connie and Vinnie in the past and they are fantastic as well!! And it’s only with African Safari Experience that you get these incredible people. You’ll begin as strangers, but leave as friends and want to book your next trip before you’re even done with the trip. The trip was well organized, I had an absolutely amazing 4-day safari experience in Kasane, and it exceeded all my expectations. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. The accommodation was excellent; comfortable, clean, and welcoming.. And every morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast before heading out for the day’s activities. The game drives and boat cruise were both incredible. We were lucky enough to see lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and several species of antelope in their natural habitat.. It was thrilling and humbling to witness such magnificent animals up close. The guides were extremely knowledgeable, and every tour was informative. I learned so much about the wildlife, their behaviour, and the ecosystem, which made the experience even more meaningful..

This was our first safari and this one set the bar high! The amount of animals we saw on this trip was astounding. Hippos, crocs, water buffalo , giraffes and of course so many elephants 😎 I loved that 1/2 of the safari was by jeep and the other by boat giving two different perspectives. The guides were very knowledgeable and pointed out so many things I would have missed. Lunch buffet was much better than expected. It was very well organized and getting through immigration was a breeze. Stop scrolling and book this tour!!!

My first safari was absolutely brilliant. We witnessed lions hunting buffalo, spotted cheetahs in the distance and encountered herds of elephants and graceful giraffes. The service was impeccable, they picked us up from Livingstone and took us across the border. The food was perfectly cooked and the guide was both informative and entertaining. I highly recommend it.

We had a great experience at Chobe National Park with African Safari Experience. First of all the booking process was super smooth, and Steve was very responsive in answering our questions. On the day itself we were also guided while going through the immigration from Zambia to Botswana, and were picked up immediately after we are done. The vehicle we sat in was new and nicely maintained. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and took his time to explain details behind our sightings. We saw elephants, crocodiles, lions, giraffes, lots of impalas, and kudus. The overall atmosphere of the tour was extremely pleasant as the whole trip was well managed and professionally handled. Our first safari experience couldn't have been better and we look forward to returning again!

Another wonderful trip to Chobe - I have been before - brought to life beautifully with African Safari Experience. I had a thoroughly enjoyable few hours in the park and managed to see plenty whilst being very ably manouvered and informed by the ASE guide. Highly recommended.

I had Steve at African Safari Experience help plan a 12 day experience in Cape Town, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Botswana. Steve and his team did an AMAZING job over the 12 days. They provided transportation each day and planned each event which included multiple game drives, Day and Night(We saw the big 5 in the first 2 days!), River cruises, Train ride, cultural tours, museums, Shark cage diving, Penguins, Table Mountain and Robbens Island. His team included Connie, Mulenga, Maxwell, Amock, Skinny and Tam. They were incredible and really made the experience. We highly recommend African Safari Experience!

Strap yourself in for the experience of a lifetime! What a day. Steve and his team ensured that the trip ran as smooth as silk with all pick ups, border crossings and transfers hassle free. The game drive was superb with every effort made to track down some big cats (successfully achieved) and the boat cruise gave a unique perspective of a different range of wildlife such as hippos, buffalo, crocodiles and plentiful birdlife. The highlight was witnessing a group of mother elephants and their offspring traversing the river. A day not to be missed if you were in any doubt!!
