Chichen Itza Private Tour plus Cenote and Valladolid Visit

Our tour guide Alberto was very knowledgeable and friendly. He answered all of our questions about the pre-Hispanic people in Mexico, and shared the mythology and math and astronomy findings of the Mayans that were super interesting to our school aged kids! The tour of Chichen Itza itself was well paced - not too fast or not too slow, time for photos and questions and just to soak in the environment, time for purchasing souvenirs. Driver was professional too - driving felt safe, car clean and spacious, air conditioning and chilled drinks were fantastic! Itinerary was nice - cenote visit was well organized and not over crowded. Brief stop for walking a few blocks around in Valladolid was nice too.

The day trip to Chichen Itza and the Selvamaya Cenote was the highlight of our trip to Mexico. The hotel pickup was convenient and the bus was very comfortable. The guides were a lot fun and knowledgeable. The food at the buffet was delicious and I was able to buy some nice stuff at the store. The bathrooms were clean as well as the changing place before the cenote. Chich Itza was amazing and our guide was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and quite humorous. The people selling items throughout Chichen Itza weren't that aggressive and most understood some English (I only know a few words in Spanish). I was able to get some nice items while shopping. The cenote was beautiful and I wish we had another hour to spend at the site. If you book this day trip please were comfortable walking shoes because it is a very long day. If we go back to Cancun I would definitely use Go Visit again.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience on our private tour and a huge part of thag was because of our amazing guide and driver, both named Eduardo! Our guide was exceptional as ge was extremely knowledgeable, informative, patient and genuinely funny. He did an excellent job of making thr history and culture interesting and engaging for both the adults and kids. He never rished us, was happy to answer all our questions and made b sure everyone was comfortable throughout the day. From beginning to end, both Eduardos professionalism, attention to my group and friendliness made our experience pleasurable and truly memorable. We had a really amazing day on our private tour of Chichen Itza, cenote and Valladolid. We are a family of four and were picked up on time directly from our hotel by Alfredo (driver) and Norma (guide). Norma was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable about the Mayan civilisation and very friendly. Throughout the day Alfredo offered us drinks and snacks and always made sure the minibus was air conditioned. We could go at our own pace and avoid the crowds which meant we arrived at Chichen Itza and the cenote before they became busy. We would highly recommend GVC to others.

Chichen Itza was closed so we went to Ek Balam. We were able to climb the structures and learned a lot about the culture on the drive out! The Cenote was very refreshing as a long hot walk. Lunch was avg at best. The driver was very cautious and our guide was very knowledgeable. The price is a bit spendy, but we were not jammed in a hot bus and could control our AC and move on our achedule.

Victor Manuel was our guide for a college-style seminar on Mayan culture and native migrations, and the experience began the moment we got into the car.
