Some of the world’s most notorious criminals, mobsters & gangsters bamboozled their way through Chicago. Escape into the city’s criminal underworld as you investigate stories about Al Capone, The Untouchables, the Chicago Mob and more. From a luxury coach, see the sites of storied crime scenes including Biograph Theatre, Holy Name Cathedral, and the St Valentine's Day Massacre, one of Chicago's most notorious murders. Snap photos of the historic criminal courthouse, and hop on-and-off the coach to walk the path that Chicago gangsters John Dillinger and Hymie Weiss followed just before their deaths.

On this world famous tour, which starts and ends OUTSIDE 163 E. Pearson Street (SE side of Michigan Avenue and Pearson Street), you will learn about the histories of leading gangster and mobster figures like Al Capone, John Dillinger, Frank Nitti, Dean O'Banion, and Bugs Moran. You'll see famous gangster shootout sites like the St. Valentine's Day Massacre, the handshake murder, and 'The Enforcers'' safe and tunnels. You will be led by a local, informative guide and guests are able to get off the bus and explore these historic crime scenes.
Pick-up and drop-off for the tour are right across the street from this Chicago Landmark.
Pass by the famous Museum of Contemporary Art. Just steps from the start of the tour, a this world class museum is a great place to enrich a Chicago experience.
View the world famous John Hancock Center in the historic Streeterville neighborhood.
See the Magnificent Mile.
Drive by the park on the way to several historic crime scenes throughout Chicago.
Pass by the beach on beautiful Lakeshore Drive.
Other sights you'll see include landmark buildings like Biograph Theater and Harry Caray's Italian Steakhouse. The bus departs on time. Guests may not join the tour after the bus departs.
Drive by Oz Park on the way to the St. Valentine's Day Massacre site in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.
Jewelers Building and historic landmark building.
Enjoy breathtaking views of the Chicago River, skyline and historic speakeasy from the State Street Bridge.
Go inside to visit Nitti's Vault, a crime museum and see the historic bootlegging tunnel.
Walk the last steps of Northside gangster Hymie Weiss.
Conclude the tour across the street from the Historic Water Tower, one of the few surviving structures from the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. This iconic building is often open to the public before or after the tour.

- Bus departs on time. Arrive at least 15 minutes early for check-in. If you don't see the bus 10 minutes before the start time, call the number indicated in your ticket for help.
- Guests may not join the tour after the bus departs. General seating is on a first-come first-served basis. Joint seating is not guaranteed.
- No restroom breaks. Please go before checking in at the bus.
- No eating or drinking on the bus.
- There is no onsite office.
- Bus has five (5) steps and some stops off of the bus include stairs. Bus is NOT equipped with an electronic lift. There is limited storage available for a folding wheelchair or stroller.
- Audio and video recording and services are not permitted without the express written consent of Chicago Crime Tours and Experiences.
- Kindly refrain from talking or translating on the bus during the tour.

What an interesting, and fascinating tour. The rich history of Chicago's mob crimes, while off putting to some, makes for a unique tour experience. If you enjoy learning about crime history, or even heard of Al Capone and the beer wars, Dillinger, Nitty, this is the tour for you. The guide was great, plus it's at night so you get to see the downtown at night which is stunning.

We had an absolute blast on the Mobsters & Gangsters Tour! Our tour guide was incredible—extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and had the perfect mix of history and humor that kept everyone entertained from start to finish. You could tell they were passionate about Chicago’s mob history, and the stories were fascinating. The tour was fun, well organized, and worth every minute. We also really appreciated the pizza—it was a great bonus and hit the spot! If you’re visiting Chicago and looking for something unique and entertaining, I highly recommend this tour. Tour itself was very interesting and the guide was great. But the bus itself needs work. AC barely working so it was super hot. The AC also steadily dripped water during the tour. This company needs to do better with maintenance.
