Terrible what a waste of money paw patrol section for kids should be max waiting time for each ride 15 mins max Not 90mins ect. We went to go on vampire ride sat on seat to then be taken off due to a kid running on the track. Didn't know you had to pay for parking to get out £16 absolute waste of money and time. Peppa pig world so much better. On top you have to pay ulez charge too. Total waste of money and time. Chessington you need to reduce the number of people allowed in park to reduce queues. The queues with 5 year olds are totally unreasonable. Layout of the park needs to be much better too very disorientating - never coming back. !!!!!
Really disappointing. Parking was expensive for basic parking and very uphill. Fine for me, but not for older grandparents etc. Went for the paw patrol world. Queuing was ridiculous and trying to expect pre school children to wait for hours is not fair. Maps need an overview, wandering around and I can read maps! Expect long waits, lots of upselling and rides were breaking down lots. Maybe due to the heat, who knows. Won't return. Would go back to Poultons Park instead, much preferred that park. Too many school groups! Why are secondary school kids on the paw patrol rides?
We loved the hotel felt like we were not in the UK, ate breakfast lunch and tea over looking the safari animals. Room very clean and staff very helpful. Theme park was amazing especially pawpatrol land.
What a shame. Food:£23.50 for unlimited Iceland pizza. Whoop whoop. 😂 Rides:Some are great when you go with young children, so there are definitely a few good options for little ones. However, waiting time doesn’t take into consideration people with fast tracks….you can easily add 10mn PAW Patrol Land:Honestly, who designed Skye’s helicopter?! This is the worst-designed attraction I have ever seen. The only staff member has to open and close EVERY SINGLE DOOR with a tiny key. He was the slowest person I have ever seen! 🤦♀️ The car fits four people, but of course they put one child with one parent who is on their phone, so you end up with half-empty cars going through the ride, and twice waiting time 🙄 And I’m not even going to mention the number of times we saw a dad queueing alone, only to call the whole family over once it was their turn… The bins were already full by midday. And I won’t even start on the toilets, with their boiling hot water for washing your hands and no soap. The park itself is visually nice, but the maintenance and general upkeep are seriously lacking. We stayed the whole day and experienced four breakdowns. To be fair, they were all fixed fairly quickly, but still… Overall, I’m really disappointed. We live only a 30-minute drive away, but I honestly don’t see us coming back anytime soon.
Lovely trip. Girls got excited the moment they saw the Paw Patrol lookout the evening we arrived & id no problem getting them up early the next morning for our first day in the park. All staff friendly & helpful. The Paw Patrol characters were especially lovely & patient!
What a fantastic experience! Our kids loved it, especially the 4 year old who got to spend his birthday at Paw Patrol world! The early rider access for hotel guests was amazing and got us on nearly every ride he wanted before the crowds came in. All the staff we interacted with were helpful and friendly, Raban one of the staff running the rides was incredible! His enthusiasm and engagement really shone and our son loved his attitude and fun character! Our only feedback would be for there to be more water refill stations around the park!
Booked one night in hotel which came with a 2 day entry pass (buy one day get one free) We used the early entry, 9 til 10 both days and went straight to Paw Patrol, we were able to go on about 10 rides by 10am. Took our own lunches and drinks as already read that prices were very expensive. Ate early dinner in hotel restaurant looking over the Zebra and Antelope field. We then went back into the park for another hour before it closed. We did all the rides we wanted to and for our favourites we did them 4 times. In general the staff were either excellent or grumpy. We do prefer Legoland as they have more variety of rides and areas like the lego building room if you want a break from the rides! Useful to take a buggy if only to put rucksacks, food and drinks on. Our room was 306 with delightful views of the rubbish bins, would request a room that looked over the park next time!
I hate to share this review, but after going to Chessington zoo since childhood and always having a great time on this occasion I left the park feeling quite sad and happy about the way I was treated by the staff not all but some have a really bad attitude. I have actually made an official complaint at the end of our day regarding one particular staff member at 12:10. On ride Tiger rock faced with confrontation from a lady supervising the fast track passes. I pacifically purchased fast track passes, for myself and my daughter as I do know and have experienced the very long wait to get on a ride. Which as we know doesn’t come cheap Chessington as it is is a very expensive day out costing me around £350 for myself and my just to go and have the fast track to eat and get some drinks during the day. The lady was extremely rude and I feel that she was actually looking to wind people up and ruin your day basically. She let every single person through that was not in fast track in leaving us standing there right till the last. At which point I should’ve just really left, but she tried to carry on and enjoy the moment with my young child. I asked her why she had done such a thing to which she replied well you will be just waiting when you get in there anyway. Her attitudewas malice and aggressive, people that were not fast track were laughing as they walked past finding it quite amusing what was going on! I asked the young woman for her name and she refused. We entered the ride and had to queue inside as expected, but to my dismay I saw the young lady going into where they operate the ride and reporting us at that point. I didn’t know exactly what for as nothing had actually been said outrageously no bad language no aggression just frustration. To my astonishment when we reach the top, we was held back again. Then the security arrived and told me that we had been accused of taking photos of this lady to which two men wanted to go through my camera and through my deleted which I find a little bit extreme and also intimidating. As a woman on my own with a young child. I did have things in my deleted that I didn’t actually want a man to see but had no choice but to show him as I was told that if I did not I would be escorted out of the park like a criminal. For what exactly? I’ve never experienced anything like this before, and I am still upset today the day after this has occurred for this woman to do this to innocent people, it is truly unfair. Nothing was found in my camera of course as I did not take any photos of her. I simply asked her name which she refused to me. That actually shows that she had something to hide if she was innocent and did nothing she would’ve simply given me her name. I do hope that Chessington view their cameras and see exactly what this young woman did as it is not nice for guests of Chessington to experience this kind of behaviour. This is always been one of my favourite rides and on a normal visit I would go on it a couple of times but this time I avoided it like the plague. Very sad that an experience can be made by one woman to leave a lasting impression on its guests.
The over night stay was fantastic, the safari bar and grill food was amazing in the hotel, the early entry in to the park was a god send however as soon as those gates opened at 10am the park was chaotic we missed out on a lot of rides due to the que times being so long🤦🏼♀️ and also alot of the ice-cream parlours didnt open until 12 clock or half 11, when you've been in the park since 9am and your child wants to sit down with ice cream and nothing was open I found a bit silly they should be open the same time as the park really, other than that we had a lovely time
Had a one night stay, we were upgraded to the gruffalo room so that was an added bonus. Staff were friendly
