A local guide will lead you through the narrow alleyways, where you'll have the opportunity to explore the Medina. The guide will share stories and legends, making the experience even more engaging and informative. After the lunch, you will be transfered back to Tangier. Upon arrival in the city, immerse yourself in Chefchaouen’s medina, one of the most picturesque historic centers in Morocco. you will enjoy strolling through its winding streets flanked by pretty blue houses. You will also visit its souks.
Small and quiet, the Chefchaouen Cemetery points to the remnants of a once vibrant culture. Visitors may notice that many of the tombs have inscriptions written in Arabic PD: This attraction is included in the optional guided tour
We will enjoy the blue painted blue city of Chefchaouen
This cascade is very handy. It keeps things cool and provides heaps of running water for the women of the town to come to the communal laundry to go the family wash. it provides an important source not just of water but social interaction for the women whose lives seem to be somewhat proscribed and cloistered. Nice place to stop and grab a coffee or mint tea and people watch while taking a break. Beautiful fountain and Kasbah as a backdrop add to the charm of the square. The visit of the museum is not included in the tour but the client can visit it in his free time while visiting the Medina
Constructed in the 15th century, Chefchaouen’s Grande Mosque was built on the orders of Moulay Mohamed Ben Ali Ben Rachid, the son of the city’s founder. It features an octagonal minaret, which is somewhat unusual when compared to the many square minarets that generally tower over the nation’s myriad mosques. The shape was influenced by Andalusian styles, brought to the country by Muslims from Spain. Built from stone, the shades of brown and beige are juxtaposed against the nearby blue and white buildings. Admiring the mosque is among the top things to do in the city. We had a fabulous day visiting Chefchaouen! We had had the Tour all to ourselves. Our personal Tour guide has lived in this beautiful village his whole life. He shared so much about the history, and current life there. You can tell how proud he is of this quaint city. The iris blue colors of the homes - so stunning. We had a delicious lunch after touring the area. Our driver was excellent, and we were very comfortable in a new Ford luxury van. I left a jacket in the van, and the company service is exemplary- sending it back to me in the states. Highly recommend this tour!
Great trip to Chefchaouen. Our driver was very pleasing with our group and did a short stop on the road so we could buy a Tangine. Also once we arrived Chefchaouen our tour guide was excellent and adapted the tour to our group as we were with our elderly mother and helped us complete a pleasant day.
An amazing experience with Ahamed ( Mikey) our driver and Abdul our tour guide in Chefchaouen. This was a private tour which I recommend when vacationing. I can not express the amazing driving abilities from Tangier port to Chefchaouen. The van was impeccably clean & comfortable. Abdul has lived in Chefchaouen with his family for centuries. We learned a lot about the Medina and way of the simple clean life that people lead here. He personalized our experience to meet our needs on what we wanted to see including food. A big shout out to these two amazing guides!
We had an absolutely lovely trip to Chefchaouen with our family (4 adults + 2 kids). The contact pre-trip was very easy and efficient via WhatsApp and we arranged for the driver to directly pick us up from the Tangier Ville port upon our arrival (and day-end drop off directly at our hotel). In Chefchaouen, we met our guide Mohamed (founder of the the operator company). He is a local from the city, and you notice his deep rooted love and pride for his beautiful home town. He was extremely friedly, knowledable and fully flexible to accomodate any wishes we had for the tour!! Thanks so much for a unforgettable experience :-). A full 5 star review from us, would book again any time and recommend to family & friends! A definite must-do if travelling to the Morocco and the Tangier region.

Our group of four people had a fantastic day. The driver picked us up right on time and handed us off to our local guide. The guide was knowledgeable about the history of the city while also providing insight into everyday life for current residents. The Blue City was just as beautiful as the pictures we had seen. After a lunch in a local restaurant which the guide helped us pick based on our preferences, we had some free time to walk about on our own. Highly recommend this tour!

Amazing day in Chefchaouen. Our driver JAD picked us up promptly at the terminal and drove us safely the 2 hours to Chefchaouen. I thought the town would just have a few blue streets but the entire old town area is magical. Our guide Fehad? met us and gave us a great tour with a local's perspective. He was fantastic for introducing us to local merchants and advising on the best locations for photos. He was very personable and friendly. We had an excellent lunch on our own at Riad Hachim before meeting Jad who got us back to the ship on time. A beautiful day in Chefchaouen with memories that will last for a lifetime. Thank you!
Fouad and Youssef were wonderful hosts. They were timely, knowledgeable, with a great ability to communicate (multiple languages - Arabic, French, English, Spanish). Saw all the sights, incredible pictures and a feeling for all the local areas and traditions.
