Vegetarians and Vegans are welcome - whilst the majority of Tapiscos culture is meat and fish based, we will cover at least one or two plant based dishes too.

Best cooking class ever!
Ana was amazing! We are big cooks at home and she not only planned our meals based on the fact we are pescatarian, but also showed us lots of new tips and tricks for preparing the food. We had a wonderful time both shopping and cooking and will definitely make the recipes again.

Fantastic experience!
This tour and cooking class was the perfect way to spend a rainy day in Porto. It began with a tour of the Bolhao Market with tastings of oysters, chocolate, olive oil, and The smelling of spices. Some of the sausage we used in our cooking class was purchased directly from the market. Our guide and cooking teacher, Rita, was excellent. After we did the market tour, we went to a small kitchen and a boutique hotel, and made a five course meal that included octopus salad, cod, croquettes, smoked sausage, steamed clams, tempe string beans, and a delicious custard dessert. Rita was so patient and kind, letting us do every step ourselves. Then we sat down to The meal we made and had delicious wine. It was a wonderful day. Thanks to Rita and this great program to teach Portuguese cuisine.
