This self guided tour was very interesting and very informative. It was a little difficult starting the self guided part with the app but once I got it it was easy from there, and you can pause the recording when needed. You can go at your own pace or take a break

It was fine and informative until the app drained our phone batteries. I would suggest bringing a portable battery charger or paying a little bit extra for a in-person tour guide.
We enjoyed doing this walking tour at our own pace. Really great info given. Narrator is knowledgeable of the area and had lots of interesting facts.
The self guided tour was very good! In an hour of easy walking, I saw a lot! The only thing I would change is the starting point of the tour. The cemetery gates were somewhat difficult to find.
This tour was wonderful! I loved that it was self paced so we could go as fast or as slow as we wanted! It was such an amazing deal! It is so worth it! There was so much detail throughout the tour and we learned so much. Next time we come to Charleston we will definitely be buying some of the other tours offered from WalknTours! The app makes it easy to navigate and give you directions to each of the next destinations!
We enjoyed the autonomy of walking through Charleston on our own. GPS worked great. If you’re going with a friend, we recommend one app download and share one set of headphones, so you’re in the same place. Make sure your phone is fully charged before starting. The reason I can’t give 5 stars is because of AI reading mistakes. Instead of street, it read St. as saint. It also mispronounced East Bay Street as Easy Bay over and over again. Could use some editing.
This self guided tour was a fantastic experience for my girlfriend and I. This is our first time in Charleston and we loved the history explained throughout the guide. Definitely would recommend to fellow history enthusiasts! I would recommend bringing waters to stay hydrated.
Loved the tour and mix of history and architecture. Loved that we could go at our own pace and pause and restart as we wanted. Just the right amount of walking and coverage of Charleston. Also suggestions for delving deeper into spots along the tour. Would highly recommend
This was a great alternative to scheduling a tour. I was unsure of when I would be available but was interested in touring Charlotte. This was very informative and allowed me to visit the landmarks and museums at a leisurely pace. I highly recommend it.
Enjoyed a fun and informative guided walking tour of historic Charleston, experiencing hidden alleys and architectural gems - thanks Greg - that was $10 well spent!
