Discover the world of Champagne through tastings, vineyards, and iconic estates on a day trip, with a wine expert guide. Your day starts with pickup from your hotel in central Paris. Enjoy a comfortable drive with a fresh croissant as your guide introduces the Champagne region, its history, and traditions. Begin with a guided visit to a major Champagne house such as Mumm, Veuve Clicquot, Moët & Chandon, Pommery or Nicolas Feuillatte. Explore the cellars, learn about the production process, and enjoy your first tasting. Continue through the vineyards, stopping among the vines for a guided tasting while learning about terroir and winemaking techniques. Lunch is served at a family-run Champagne house or a local restaurant, paired with different styles of Champagne. In the afternoon, visit a smaller estate, such as a family owned vineyard or a coopérative, to discover another expression of Champagne, followed by a final tasting. Return to the center of Paris in the late afternoon.

Our driver was very knowledgeable and very polite he explained the process of champagne 🍾 and the the region our lunch stop at the local vineyard was quaint and the food was good it’s a long day but very enjoyable I would highly recommend this tour

We were disappointed that the tour was not offered in French but in the end the guide was able to adapt well. He was very friendly and possessed a very, very great knowledge of champagnes. Romaric is great.

Our experience was incredible! Romaric our tour guide was simply fantastic. Friendly, confident, a safe driver and with a lot of interesting facts about Champagne making it fun and super enjoyable. The tour was really planned perfectly, we spent enough time in each place, met some nice people and it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to France. Nicolás was an incredibly knowledgeable guide about the champagne district due to his career as a sommelier. We tasted way more champagne than I expected and the lunch served was delightful. Also, the van was air conditioned which was appreciated on a hot day. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip!

Romaric was an amazing guide. He was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, extremely fun. The venues were absolutely beautiful and the hosts at each stop were very inviting and gracious. Lunch was delicious a s such an intimate setting. We enjoyed our group as well. We highly recommend this tour - it is a must do!

Great guide with lots of knowledge, Aurelien! Travel in van for total of 8 and in the back it is difficult to hear. When listening to heavily accented (different than American) it is difficult to understand and add the road nose and car makes it worse. Mumm and Collery were great choice but the last stop (I don’t even remember the name) was not very good. Also another trip through wine making process is a waste of time. I would rather stop at two more wineries and just do tasting.

Picked up at the hotel, and once everyone was on the bus there was a 90min ride towards champagne and Rhein. Here one has the option to nap a bit or look at the surroundings along the way. First stop for our tour was Lanson where we got a tour giving some history of champagne in general as well as the house Lanson. Tour ends with a tasting of their house champagne. Off for another 45min trip to Julien Chopin for a delicious lunch paired with three champagne and one Ratafia, they sorted out vegetarian option in a good manner as well. Now we took a short ride over to Vollereaux for another tour, shorter yet more intimate and personal. Ending this as well with three glasses of champagne. Here one would think we'd head back but not yet. Now our guide Huw takes us to an amazing view point and in the sun we enjoy one final glass of champagne together and talk about the day, what grapes we prefer, what sugar content and age of the champagne. Along the day Huw been providing additional knowledge of all kind of stuff both history and technique of champagne and wine. All in all a great experience that I could do again in the future just gain even more knowledge and then see some different champagne houses.
