We had a great time with Tara, she was a great guide, the pace was perfect while we recieved a lot of information on the park. Me and my wife both enjoyed the tour.
Wonderful morning run in Central Park; Tara (our guide) was making it all perfect, she is a gem. I highly recommend this tour!
Really enjoyed my run with the guide, Joseph. No shows meant it was just the two of us. Joseph was vert passionate and knowledgeable about the park and made it a memorable experience
Great running experience and tour. Saw parts of Central Park we had not seen before. John was knowledgeable gave us a nice run.
My favorite thing to do whenever I visit NYC is to walk Central Park. With this latest trip, I didn’t have time to take my annual stroll. So when I found out that this option existed, I had to do it! Plus, it allowed me to get a run in on this vacation. This tour was amazing: For starters, the pace is easy but a good workout (around 7:30/km or 12:00/mi). It was akin to my recovery runs. Next, the areas we traversed: Some were familiar but from a new perspective. And the rest… wow! I could not believe that I missed so much during my walks. The hills, the plants, the bridges, the bodies of water, the paths—so much to take in. I highly recommend this for casual runners, high-level runners, and even those who believe themselves to be bad at running. The sights, the tour guide, and the ease makes this welcoming to all and a fun, unique experience. (PS I recommend the morning for the great vibes and sun)
Great way to see Central Park and learn a bit of nyc history! Our guide was friendly and everything went as expected.
Thanks so much for joining us, Kate!
Running around this beautiful park with our guide Rachel was the highlight of my short stay in New York. Rachel was extremely knowledgeable about the park and its history. Over nearly 7.5km in 1.5hrs we managed to see so much, with plenty of photo stops, and even expertly navigate around a 10k race taking place that morning.
Thank YOU ALi, for joining us on such an amazing morning!
It was great to run with Dan and get a guided tour of this wonderful place! Dan was great, very knowledgable and was happy to take photos gor me! Totally recommended if you are a runner and visiting NYC! Thankyou for a great experience!
Guided run was canceled 45 minutes before the start time and there was no option for rescheduling that matched my schedule.
Hi Annie I am so sorry that you had such a poor experience with us. We try our best, and usually succeed, at delivering top rated experiences. Unfortunately an issue came up with our assigned tour guide that morning and we weren't able to find another in time. We of course refunded your payment and offered you a free tour on another morning but you were not available. Our offer still stands and if you do find yourself in NYC again we would be more than happy to have you join us as my guest. Mike R Founder, City Fit Tours
100% recommend this. Whatever your pace, the whole group stuck together. So interesting and informative. Loved it. And it was almost 2 hours so definite value for money.
Thanks so much for taking the time to give us such a wonderful review! Mike R
