This private tour by Anthony was one of the highlights of our Western Medierranean cruise! He picked us up promptly in front of our ship, and we toured a few of the main sites in Marseille, including the old port and the Basilica of Notre Dame de la Garde. Then we traveled through the beautiful Parc National des Calanques to Cape Canaille, the highest cliff in Europe, where we had incredible views of nearby rock climbers, Cassis Bay, and the Mediterranean Sea. After traveling down to the fishing town of Cassis, we took an hour boat tour to view the cliffs, beaches, and tourquoise water. Anthony suggested a wonderful restaurant alongside the harbor where we had a local seafood lunch, followed by plenty of time to explore the town, shop, and stop for gelato before meeting Anthony for a quick ride back to the ship. The private tour was absolutey perfect! Anthony was friendly, professional, and prompt...AND he made sure we were back to the ship on time! You will cross the famous old port, then we will go to Notre Dame de la Garde Cathedral and its magnificent viewpoint on the 2nd largest city in France, as well as the Friuli Islands and the Castle of If known for the legend of the count of Monte Cristo. Finally we will drive along the shore of Marseille with some stops like the beautiful little port of the Vallon des Auffres.
Cassis
You take the beautiful panoramic road of the Gineste to Cassis, one of the most beautiful village in France. On site you can spend time in the village and its charming harbour, or you can have lunch.
Parc national des Calanques
From the port of Cassis, you can take a boat ride to discover the magnificent clanques with turquoise waters. (1h00 walk, €21.00/person, extra charge) or (1h30 walk, €25.00/person, extra charge)
Cape Canaille
You will take the ridge route to Cape Canaille, the highest sea cliff in Europe (400 metres), which offers breathtaking views of Cassis and the Mediterranean Sea.

Amazing tour, highly recommend!
This was our favorite excursion on our Mediterranean cruise. We were met and dropped off at our ship, and we were very comfortable for the tour. Anthony provided a great experience, we felt like we were visiting a friend, who was showing us the best of what the area had to offer. I cannot recommend this tour enough!!

We did a family cruise with 7 people including 2 kids (12 & 7) and 2 in their 70s. Tony was amazing. He was patient with everyone was able to adjust as we went. It helps that the cities are gorgeous, but Tony made it so much better. Would definitely recommend this tour.

An exceptional day !!!
Our guide Tony, a local, showed us the most beautiful monuments in Marseille. We then went to Cap Canaille with its breathtaking view... We ended the day in Cassis where we had lunch at the port, then the children went swimming, the turquoise water is incredible. We felt safe all day. Tony is a very careful driver. Everything was truly perfect. A family day we won't forget...

A perfect day in Marseille and Cassis!!
This is the second day tour we did with Tony. An always perfect experience Tony, native of the region told us to discover the most beautiful places of Marseille. We then went to the cliffs of Cape Canaille, the most of the Mediterranean sea was breathtaking. We ended our day on the port of Cassis, this Provencal village is incredible in beauty. Our children took a short swim on the beach with turquoise waters right next to the port. All day was perfect Thank you for everything Tony!!
