Description
The proper way to visit Cascais & Estoril, a Full day tour! An early seaside destination for Portuguese elite emerging from a fisherman’s village, just like so till the end of the 1800´s. From the 1930s on the unexpected happened as international royals and exiles dramatically changed Cascais, transforming it into Portugal´s Riviera. It’s the time and place for the people escaping persecutions to be safe, and this neutral territory to host the greatest spy the games of World War II. The dark years and cities destroyed in Europe were felt totally differently here, when the majority of the continent had no offer of safety or hospitality. Today it’s a beautiful international 30km stretch of Atlantic coastline capturing worldwide traveler’s and investors, for leisure and business introductions to all of Portugal! While doing this, follow the 1969 movie “007 On Her Majesty's Secret Service” as you will be also touring the birthplace of James Bond, the true area that inspired Ian Fleming.
