Worth all the stairs. Great informative staff. Take the time to have lunch and enjoy the pub Would also be great in summer to explore the garden
It was easy to book on the Cascade Brewery site. They communicated well and made the admin easy. All our staff really enjoyed the tour and the tour guide was so enthusiastic. He made the tour interesting and fun. He had a good depth of knowledge and could answer any questions. Really good morning out and great value for money. The Brewery is an incredible, heritage building
Really interesting tour and stories about the history and origin of the brewery. Our tour guide JD the Dutchman was very informative and knowledgeable.
The Brewery is a short Uber ride outside of Hobart. It has a very interesting history and a funny story about its construction. The tour itself was very informative, not only about the building but about their business. In addition, the flight of beers we tasted after the tour were worth the wait.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic experience at Cascade Brewery! We had an absolutely brilliant time on the Cascade Brewery Tour. The grounds and history are impressive on their own, but what really made the experience stand out was our guide, Alice. Alice was incredibly informative, engaging, and passionate about the brewing process and the history of the site. She kept everyone entertained while sharing a wealth of knowledge, and she happily answered all of our questions. The tasting session at the end was the perfect finish to a great afternoon. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hobart—and if you get Alice as your guide, you're in for an absolute treat!
It was a detailed tour around the cascade. Paige Was generous to feed us with fun facts. Don’t forget to tip the bottom at the end. Cheers
Would not have booked this tour but got a voucher from tripadvisor for a discount...so why not? So glad I did. The tasting at the end was generous. The tour was informative, not only in brewing, but in the brewery's history (a little shady!), Tasmania, and the Australian beer business scene overall. I appreciate Vegemite even more now. The venue is easy to reach by public bus (free at the moment). They said we could take our paddle of samples to the attached restaurant. I didn't, but from what I heard from others (at my hotel, other tours) I wish I had as the food sounds exceptional and has a wonderful view. Thanks, JD, for a great tour.
Our guide, Claire, was so informative and could answer all our questions. The tasting paddle at the end was a bonus and we ended up staying for another drink and dinner with their Monday-Friday happy hour. Beautiful venue and interesting history.

So good! Henry was our guide and he was really great at explaining everything and also very accommodating. The beer paddle at the end was so delicious!
