Nice little outing if in area. I looked for something whilst in Rockhampton for a couple of days. Different to others I’ve seen, not the pretty colours, stalagmites & stalactites I was expecting, just a cave system. Acoustics were good & you can experience true total cave darkness. Guide needed more experience with chatting people in our group, frustrating when we couldn’t hear. Not great value for money. Ok if you’ve never been in a limestone cave.
Easy cave tour, Cathedral was amazing, jade the guide was fun and informative.
Nice tour with a very professional guide. He explained things well. As a French person, I appreciated that he spoke slowly and articulated well. Do not hesitate to ask for a document in French upon arrival.
I visited Capricorn Caves for work- we had hired the venue for a workshop- and did a tour at the end of the day. I loved it, and our guide Tim was terrific. Highly recommend. And I found out this is the oldest tourism experience in Queensland which is pretty cool.
excellent set up, tour guide was great and very knowledgeable. Length of tour was just right - 50 minutes . Our group had only 8 people so was nice and small. Admission fee was reasonable in comparison to other activities. It was really good when they turned out all of the lights in the cathedral section and played orchestral music. Was truly VERY dark!! And music was wonderful/. Excellent spot for a wedding!
We had a good time there. The Olson's cabin we stayed in was very nice and roomy. The Caves are very different from the many 'wet' caves we have seen in many places around the world, however these are interesting in their own way.
Perfect little adventure with loads of information about stones, history and bats and the right amount of space and adventure.
We had never heard of the caves but found this experience googling things to see between Yeppoon and Airlie Beach. Very happy we stopped in. The guide was super knowledgeable and the kids traveling with us loved exploring the caves. The whole thing only took an hour which was perfect to stretch our legs during a long day of driving. Would definitely recommend if you’re passing by.
Very enjoyable experience well organised and informative for all ages. Recommend this tour to all bats they would be right at home.🦇
We were party of 4 adults. The guide was excellent and enjoyed his commentary of the history of the caves,
