Capri Fishing Excursion with Snorkeling and Lunch from Sorrento

Our captain and first mate were both named Tony! Tony Jr speaks English pretty well while Tony Sr does not speak English but he is so very nice! If you want to see Capri by boat this is the tour to do! We met early in Sorrento where we are picked up and taken to the pier to get on the boat. Our group was about 12 people total and they offer to land at Capri for 4hours for people to explore if they don't want to fish ($10 landing fee per person we opted to fish cuz we had already been to Capri). They drop you off at the back of Capri away from the tourist area so im not sure how easy it would be to get around and see much of Capri. The fishing is why we came though. Both Tony's made sure we had lines prepped and baited. As soon as I dropped my line I caught 2 fish! The fish were small and plentiful and made it amazing! I fished for maybe an hour before getting bored and laying at the front of the boat to relax and drink water. After picking up the others from the dock we made our way back out into the Gulf of Napoli where we were able to get out and swim. I cannot swim at all but another guest asked for life jackets so I was given one in order to get in the water. No snorkeling gear was offered and I feel like if the other guests hadn't asked for a life jacket I would not have been offered one as I told Tony Jr I can't swim in open water and no suggestion was made by him for floats or anything. Once we finished swimming we were given lunch made by Tony Sr local garden. Pasta and ragu, tomato salad with mozzarella, and lemon cake. Then we took limoncello shots 😁. Tony took us to the green, white, and blue grottos and showed us all around the island. This tour was my favorite by far on the whole trip we had in Italy and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to see Capri from the water!

Personally, the most memorable was swimming in the Mediterranean. Sal and his cousin Anna are adorable. We loved them both. Always smiling and willing to help. We spent time in Capri, as well as fishing on the boat and of course our swims and tooling around the caves. If I were to suggest one thing, it would be to supplement the lack of fish that was caught with other food. Yes, they did provide pasta salad and bread, as well as prosecco and drinks and an dessert that was wonderful, however, our husbands were on the boat for eight hours and did not have lunch and very little to eat because the fish catching was not plentiful, so I would say there should be more food.

This was such an amazing experience! We were the only ones that chose to stay on the boat to fish for the full 4 hours instead of disembarking in Capri, and we had a great time. Sal, Paolo, and Anna were all very nice, and Sal even picked up/ dropped off in Massa Lubrense. We had a great time hanging out on the boat, trawling with Paolo, and an even better time catching fish. The food was also very good, and freshly homemade. Sal has thought of everything to make this experience a good time, and we appreciated all of his effort.

This tour was amazing!!! The staff are so fun and helpful and all the food is sea and farm to table! So fresh, the best olive oil I’ve ever tasted with fresh home made bread, pasta, cake, limoncello and more! I’ll be back to fish again with them. I alone scored over 20 keepers and saw all around Capri, swam as well in the sea. Best experience of my life!

This was a fantastic adventure for the day ! From visiting Capri, to fishing , swimming and having a wonderful meal on the boat . This was by far 5 stars !!

AMAZING experience!! Anna and Sal were wonderful hosts. They shared so much interesting Sorrento history - you felt the passion they have for this beautiful place. From the sight seeing, to the fishing, the visit to Capri, the lovely lunch, visiting the grottos, and the swimming; it will be a day to remember always! Prego!

Hi it was a wonderful experience me and my grandsons the only thing i have too complain about was when i booked it it stated what was included in the price and pick up and return from are hotel but when we arrived at the port this lady quit rude demand that we pay for rhe pick up said not included i showd her but she still insisted then on the boat another member off crew went on about it so i payed 30 euros but was not happy about it it so would not use this company again 😫

If you wan't fishing or swimming trip to Capri. This is the one. I did three trips to Capri on my stay in Sorrento and this one was by far the best for the boat size and personal touches and flexibility on swimming and fishing etc. Salvadore picked me up personally from the hotel and driopped me at Marina Grande to be collected taken to the boat meeting point next to a coffee shop. It was 7:45 in the morning and I sat there watching the marina wake up and come to life. That in it'self was lovely. Once everyone arrived we got on the SalBoat and set off. First stop dropping off the Capri island visitors for 4 hrs. They were provided with a map manually highlighting the best way to see the Island maximising the time they had. Nice Touch. We then moved out in the harbour to do some fishing. The Fish aren't big so don't expect any Marlin etc.. We just kept reeling them in as there are loads. Once we had enough for lunch some of us spent the rest of the time swimming in the sea.. It was such a hot day it was blissful and such a stunning location. Capri visitors back on board 4 hrs later a nice 3 course lunch was provided, inclucing the fresh fishes we had caught :) Also Champagne and soft drinks all complementary. We then stopped at another locating for a swim again and then headed back to Sorrento. Salvador and the Crew were exeptional the whole time and very informative also. There isnt much they dont know about the area and history etc.. I would definately go back on this trip if I returned to sorrento. Highly recommended. Thanks Sal and Team for a lovely day :)

Our trip was truly unforgettable. We were pleasantly surprised to be picked up just a one-minute walk away from our accommodation and dropped off at the port. The staff members were fluent in English and incredibly friendly. However, it's worth noting that not everyone on the boat will be on the same tour - some will be on a Capri city tour and won't be fishing. Once on board, you'll have the choice of either fishing for four hours or fishing for two hours and spending some time on the island. In our experience, the fishing was exceptional thanks to the expertise and kindness of Captain Sal and Margherita. It’s worth noting that you do don’t need to know how to fish.We caught a bunch of fish and enjoyed a delicious lunch consisting of the fish we caught. It's important to keep in mind that the water in June can still be a little chilly, and if you're prone to seasickness, it's advisable to bring medicine. Overall, we highly recommend this fishing experience.
