Description
After a busy day at Cappadocia, you can blow off some steam by visiting the Turkish traditional hammam & SPA. In Ottoman Turkish baths,as in Roman baths, when you go to the bath, you not only bathe but also have fun.The origins of the Turkish Bath,as a link in an uninterrupted development chain;date back to Byzantine and Roman Baths, and even older,to the Bronze Age civilizations of Anatolia.People began to visit the baths in ancient times, but during the Ottoman Empire, this activity became a kind of ritual in which the body and the soul were cleansed. The premises are built in the traditional oriental style-it is spacious and bright with a vaulted ceiling. The interior decoration is only marble. The air temperature should be at most 55C and the humidity 100%.If you have not purchased a private service, men and women will be in separate complexes. Being naked is forbidden to everyone, so towels or sheets are always provided at the entrance. You can also bring your bikini or shorts with you.

Broken things and unclean place…
The pick up was all good! I changed in a very sm room w few cabinets: “locker room!” Very sm towel, go into a Sauna, pitch dark bc of light bulb broken! Then go into a cold Hammam w/broken half-open door! Laid on smelly red wrap, tiny towel under head!! I told her I will not do it unless door is completely closed! So, they put a block fr outside to get door stay closed! She was afraid to leave Hot water on, & create Steam!! The girl look very tired at 8:30 pm, but did a great wash & massage, though… I felt very bad, since she looked exhausted! Before leaving, my cheapo key would not open my cabinet; manager?! finally opened it w/ another customer’s key!!! Would never go back & stay away from there!! Not clean.. facility, & over-worked staff!!! Owners Must clean inside, towels, wraps, fix Broken Door to Hot Hammam & light to Sauna!!! & let therapist Run Hot water for customers; I was Cold the entire time she was washing… me!!!
Operator response
We've read every line of this and we're sorry. A dark sauna, a hamam door that wouldn't close, being cold the whole time, the wrap, the towels, the locker at the end: none of that is acceptable to us and we're not going to argue with any of it. We've already contacted you directly, please check your messages when you have a moment. Every point you listed is being followed up on and we're watching this closely until it's actually fixed, not just noted. Thank you for the honest words about the therapist's care too, we've passed them on to her. Skyway Travel Team
