A grand walking tour of Capitol Hill to explore the Supreme Court, Library of Congress, and US Capitol. Learn about the country's legislative & judicial branches and step inside with the included entry tickets. Supreme Court: The tour does not enter, but you will get a full understanding of the judicial branch. Library of Congress: See an original Gutenberg Bible, view Jefferson's original library collection. Take a peek in the main Reading Room and admire items such as a draft of the Gettysburg Address, handwritten lyrics for “The Sound of Music,” Maya Lin’s drawings for the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, original artwork by Stan Lee for the Spider-Man comic. Capitol Building: Learn about the Burning of Washington and find the best angle for a photo. See the original plaster model of Freedom. Your guide will secure hard-to-get tickets for the docent-led tour, which brings you into the Crypt, the Rotunda, and the Old House.

We'll see the best photo angle of the US Capitol, stand where the four DC quadrants of DC intersect, and see the press area for Capitol reporters.
From the outside, your guide will talk about the Supreme Court Building.
Your guide will bring you inside this beautiful architectural wonder to explore Thomas Jefferson's personal library collection, an original Gutenburg Bible, the Main Reading Room overlook and more.
When security allows, we'll see the permanent podium on the House side of the Capitol available for press conferences.
We'll enter the Capitol Visitor Center to see the original model of the Statue of Freedom (the statue on top of the Capitol Dome) and see part of the National Statuary Collection.
Your guide will explain the US Capitol's significance, architecture and history before bringing you inside for a docent led tour.

I was upset that when I showed Katherine my senate passes to ask her what we should do she never returned them to me or my husband
This is inaccurate. You showed them to Katherine in the Library of Congress and she handed them back to you immediately saying that they were faded and worn and might not be accepted so she got the entire group House Gallery passes to be used instead. There was an entire hour left of the tour after you talked about them so you would have been able to discuss with her about getting then back even if she had forgotten to give them to you; not to mention having her phone number as well as the office phone number and we would have been able to bring them over.
The tour was flawless and its a small group.. everything was run smoothly and on time. Vicky our guide was awesome ! Highly recommend.

Washington is for walkers and is not WC friendly. Parking in close...? better get in there about 6am. Pick up point was hard to find even with phone map. We ended up not completing, too much walking,
You did not join the tour at all and left at the tour starting location. This is listed as a walking tour that is not accessible due to stairs but when you arrived you said you couldn't walk (and you were not using a wheelchair) and asked us to take your child without you; which we could not. The guide explained the tour is leisurely with places to sit and you elected not even to start. We suggest guests take public transportation as people are not allowed to park on Capitol Hill; as we told you when we offered parking advice, it is street parking in the nearby neighborhood. Sometimes spots can be found one block away - parking after 9AM is easier than 6AM as residents have left. This is a false and misleading review since you did not take the tour at all.
