We booked the tour through GetYourGuide. We were picked up by Kathy and everything worked out great. The tour was fantastic, Kathy knew a great deal about flora and fauna and told and explained a lot to us. Wonderful, we are happy
Barry is an experienced, knowledgeable, and really supportive guide. He knew the Kasteelspoort route up Table Mountain really well. He took a great photo of me at the Diving Board, and I learned a lot about the plants and animals in Table Mountain National Park along the way.
The hike was awesome, we got to take really nice pictures at the diving board. We had to take the Platteklip Gorge back down since the cable car wasn’t operating, but the views down that hike was just as amazing. Lameck was a great guide. He was kinda friendly, and very willing to stop and take pictures.
We had a great hike with our guide Liesl. The weather was a bit rough and the confitions were not optimal, but Liesl adjusted the route to our requirements and we still managed to get some wonderful views. She took really good care of us and explained a lot about the vegetation. We feeled safe all the time and we had a great time!

We did the 4 hour challenging hike about Kasteelspoort with Lynette. She taught us so much about the flora and fauna of the region, the history and story of Cape Town and South Africa. She was generous enough to give us recommendations for our onwards journey. All in all without her pleasant personality, encouragement and infectious charm we would not have completed this hike through the rainy cloudy weather that day. Highly recommend her as a guide!
This was our first time in South Africa and we were reluctant about going to Cape Town because the weather was forecasted to be rainy and windy. However, we hit the jackpot with the weather situation and our tour guide, Lynette. She definitely deserves a five star rating for her positivity, knowledge of the area and compassion to make Cape Town a wonderful experience. My friend had researched a lot and he said to our other five friends I'm telling you I think this person is the best one in Cape Town! I would have to agree with him 1000% if you're planning a trip to Cape Town definitely I would highly highly recommend hiring Lynette as your tour guide!!
