Canoeing Neretva river

I had a great time canoeing on the Neretva River. At first I actually did not feel like going, but my guide Uroš helped me out really well and he got me excited. The nature was so beautiful and I am glad I did not miss out on it.

Rafting on Neretva river was wonderful. The guide was very good and precise, giving a sense of safety.

We had an absolute blast canoeing down the Neretva river. It was an exhilarating experience—fun and just the right amount of challenge. We did flip over once with our canoe—and it could be a question of skill—but it just added to the experience. The staff was extremely accommodating both during the trip itself & afterwards, they even helped out by calling & fixing a ride to the train station to help us get home.

Well organized, the guide gave clear directions. Company uses gear of high quality. We hot neoprenes, helmet, boots, swimming vests, so we were complete safe even in case of a flip-over on the rapid. I really recommend this company.

Was the most beautiful and exciting kayaking experience I’ve ever had, all the team were amazing and Simba was so knowledgeable and skilled. Would definitely hope to be back to float the Neretva again!

We did the canoeing tour with our family with three teenagers. We booked through the very friendly guide Jelle, whom we met through via. The communication went extremely smoothly and even when we first wanted to make another tour, we were allowed to switch to the canoeing without any problems. We were amazed by the professionalism of the company, the perfect equipment, the friendliness, the beautiful building where they are housed. Our experienced guide Senad was friendly, funny and very helpful. He gave us clear instructions and helped us where necessary. I can only recommend Visit Konjic and all the staff!

I can truly recommend this agency who is run by passionate professionals. We felt like we were in great hands and wonderfully looked after. I highly recommend their services—they are absolutely top-notch! Plus, the food was fantastic, and the hospitality was outstanding.

The second time we have canoed on the Neretva. this trip was about 3-4hrs and 15km. A stunning river with exciting but manageable rapids. Firt time we had been with Visit Konjic. Our guides were great, very experienced and all the kit was good quality. Safety was their first priority and I felt safe with my wife and teenagers. Would thoroughly recommend a) the Neretva and b) Visit Konjic.

Unfortunately, our experience with Visit Konjic was quite disappointing. The tour started over one hour late without any explanation, even though all participants were on time at the departure point. This delay pushed the entire schedule back. We were a group spread across two boats, and from the beginning, the atmosphere was tense. The boat guide was unfriendly and constantly made negative, disparaging comments about the group, which set the tone. The first 1–2 hours were still somewhat enjoyable, but the boat moved extremely slowly, as we constantly had to wait for the second boat. Its passengers seemed more interested in sunbathing than paddling, drifting along with the weak current. There were multiple breaks during the trip, all of which felt unnecessarily long. The entire rafting experience ended up taking 6 hours – for a route the guide himself admitted could be done in 50 minutes. All of this happened under the scorching sun, without adequate shade or shelter. The mood on the boat deteriorated over time. The activity was not sporty at all, mostly just sitting and floating. What starts out as relaxing soon becomes boring and even exhausting. We were all hungry, restless, and frustrated by the end. The price of €52 per person is, in our opinion, far too high for what is essentially a long, drawn-out drift down a canyon. To make things worse, the staff and organizers were unfriendly and dismissive of any feedback we tried to give. Final verdict: Instead of paying for this trip, just take a swim in the beautifully clear water nearby. It's refreshing – and free.

Absolutely fantastic excursion!! Visit Kongic are a very professional company who really have thought of everything. You will be provided with wetsuits and wet shoes as well as safety gear. There are lockers to store your belongings and hot showers and towels for after the trip. We ( family with 2 teenage boys) chose to canoe in 2 x 2 man canoes. We have a little prior experience with kayaking low grade white water and the decision was perfect for us. Following the rafters, the river was just challenging enough for us to make the day fun! We stopped to jump off the rocks into the river. The river and canyons are beautiful. The guide, Senad, was very friendly and made the day great fun. Do stay for a delicious BBQ lunch after. You will have worked up an appetite.
