Not as expected
We did a candle making class. The owner was very nice and knowledgeable. Her shop is super cute. We were disappointed in the experience itself. We did pick our scent but expected to be able to personalize our candles with maybe color, dried flowers, other additives but it was just pouring wax into a glass. Same with the room spray, just poured scent into container.

Our candle-making experience is intentionally focused on fragrance—choosing from our scent collection, creating your own fragrance blend, and making your candle and coordinating room spray.
We do want to clarify one important point regarding dried flowers and other decorative additives. We intentionally do not place dried flowers, herbs, leaves, wood, or other flammable botanicals into our candles. The National Candle Association has specifically cautioned that flammable materials embedded in candle wax near the flame can become a fire hazard. As professional candle makers, we take those safety recommendations and our responsibility to our customers seriously. We will not add potentially flammable decorations to a candle simply for aesthetic purposes.
We also choose not to use candle dyes in this particular experience. Our candles have a clean, natural wax appearance, with the personalization centered around creating a fragrance that is uniquely yours.
We completely understand that someone expecting a highly decorative candle-making experience with colors and embellishments may be looking for a different type of class. We can certainly do a better job of making that distinction clear in our class description so guests know exactly what to expect before booking.

Making Candles for her birthday!
My friend and I loved the experience. Danielle the own was warm and welcoming. She walked us through everything and we really enjoyed her taking the time to educate us and help us explore the various scents available. It was a lovely experience 🤩

One of the best experiences I have ever had. The host was warm funny and great teacher. Gave us all the safety tips and advice needed to enjoy the candle making and fragrances.

Great for a rainy day
What fun!!! Danielle,the owner, was so funny, informative, helpful and you can really tell she loves what she is doing. She doesn't rush you at all. Fun little shop too.
