What about animal welfare???

I am taking the time to write this review, being very surprised that there are not more in this vein. During an excursion in the Agafay Desert, I was deeply shocked by the living conditions of the dromedaries used for tourist rides. These dromedaries are tied together in single file, the head of one against the backside of the other, with 50cm ropes that allow no freedom of movement. Some have scars and wounds on their bodies, suggesting the violence endured during "their training." To get tourists on, the dromedaries are "invited" to lie down, with blows from sticks to the legs for those taking a little longer to perform the action. The cries they make at that moment suggest the suffering they feel, doing this movement about twenty times a day, tied up as they are. And the worst part is that once the workday is over, instead of enjoying a good night's rest, you will see them on the side of the road, their front legs tied together so they cannot run away. Tourism and a beautiful Instagrammable photo should never be an excuse to inflict such suffering on an animal. As tourists, we have the possibility to put an end to this ordeal by boycotting these rides.
