Having grown up in Barcelona, spent many years visiting Cadaqués, and now dividing his time between the two, he has a genuine connection to the Costa Brava and its people. His personal experiences, relationships with local residents, and deep knowledge allowed him to share not only the stories behind the region’s famous landmarks, but also the everyday details that make Cadaqués such a special place. Throughout the day, Bruno seamlessly wove together the history, art, and culture of the Costa Brava. We learned about the many artists who found inspiration here, including Salvador Dalí, Pablo Picasso, Marcel Duchamp, Joan Miró, and even Wes Anderson’s admiration for the area’s unique beauty. Visiting Dalí’s home in Portlligat, hiking to the Cala Nans Lighthouse, enjoying lunch at Cap de Creus, and wandering the charming streets of Cadaqués each became richer experiences because of the stories and context Bruno shared. We especially appreciated his thoughtfulness. As vegans, we often have to plan meals carefully while traveling, but Bruno recommended excellent vegan-friendly options for both lunch and dinner and even chose to follow a vegan diet himself that day so we could enjoy the experience together. One aspect that truly stood out was the amount of time Bruno dedicated to making our experience exceptional. Spending nearly 14 hours with us—from driving us to and from Barcelona to guiding us throughout the day—demonstrated a level of commitment and personal attention that went well beyond what we’ve experienced on most tours. Despite the length of the day, the time flew by thanks to Bruno’s energy, enthusiasm, and engaging storytelling, which kept every part of the journey enjoyable and memorable. We left with a much deeper appreciation for the Costa Brava and the Mediterranean lifestyle. While this day trip is an outstanding introduction to the region, it also convinced us that there is so much more to discover and that spending a night or two in the Costa Brava is well worth considering. We highly recommend touring with Bruno to anyone looking for an authentic, engaging, and unforgettable experience.

There is no better way to see Barcelona, Montserrat, and Costa Brave (especially Cadaqués) than with Bruno De Angelis. His tours are magical and were the highlight of our visit to Spain. This was an incredible trip. Can’t say enough good things about Bruno. One of the best tours I have ever taken with an incredibly kind, professional, fun, personable, and knowledgeable guide. I brought my 9 year old daughter and Bruno created a magical full day of visits to extraordinary places. My child was kept involved and interested all day learning and seeing special locations and we were able to see so many secret spots (and so smoothly) on the Costa Brava. From initial communication to picking lunch and coffee spots to adjusting our agenda throughout the day to match our interests and preferences, Bruno proved to be in the top tier of travel guides. You will get what you pay for and much more. He goes the extra mile. It was a very special day with a wonderful local and a superb guide. The entire time we were together was pleasant and comfortable. Excellent choice of transportation and unbelievable knowledge of the places we toured, accompanied by pleasant conversation. Tour began with a pick up at my place in Barcelona and continued thru the country side to unbelievable places. Return home as luxurious as imaginable. Highly recommended
