- The tour meets in downtown Cabo San Lucas outside the entrance of Starbucks across the street from the famous Squid Roe nightclub. Everyone comes hungry so we leave right on time. Guides arrive 5 minutes prior with cold waters.
Description
Avocabo pays 100% menu price for the food, receives no commissions or kick backs. Two guides per tour to ensure you are treated like VIPS. Avocabo will never try and sell high price tequila to our customers. It’s all about immersion into the local area and eating authentic tacos. You will see very other tourist in the local side but it’s super safe and fun. Your door will be opened to a whole new side of Cabo San Lucas.

Avo Cabo Taco Tour
Have visited Cabo a number of times but had never really gotten off the beaten path. Hooked up with Javier from Avo Cabo for a trek through previously unexplored streets and had a delightful experience. Javier is very knowledgeable both of local and regional Mexican food culture. Plus a really interesting guy! Tasted different tacos at four locally owned restaurants. Took a little under two hours, walked less than a mile. We’ll try another of Avo Cabo’s food tours on our next visit. Highly recommend!

The Taco Walk
You will go th several locations that have great tacos. There is a good amount of walking involved. It’s a good way to experience Cabos near little taco places.

Possibly top 3 tour I’ve been on in multiple visits to Cabo over the years.
Get off the beaten path with this tour… leave the Marina and El Squid Roe behind along with all the tourist traps! Javier led us on a great walk and eat tour. We’re scheduled for the noon slot and they pushed it back to 5:30 which was a life saver for sure as July is a bit warm to do this tour mid day… would totally do this one again food was amazing and learning about ingredient local sourcing and family run restaurants was again off the beaten trail.

AvoCabo Food Tour A+
our experience with Robin at AvoCabo Food Tour was fantastic. The men in our group were very apprehensive to go and ended up loving it!! Very knowledgeable about culture and the food was fabulous. We did the Taco Tour and will definitely do the Eat Like a Local Tour when we return!

Great food tour!
The owner and tour guide was great. She is very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information about the culture. The tacos were great, as well as the restaurant owners. I would definitely recommend this tour.

So great! Robin and Salvado (I may be spelling his name wrong, my apologies) were fantastic guides, we got to see and learn more about the authentic Cabo San Lucas, and the food was fantastic! I can EAT, and I was full!
