Caño Negro are protected wetlands not only by the government of Costa Rica there are non-governmental ORG´s like RAMSAR giving it a category as one of the most important wetlands in the world, that´s because this aquatic ecosystem is home of many endangered species such like the garfish, spider monkey, the tapir, the jaguar the Jabiru. Caño Negro it´s 2hrs from La Fortuna once we get to town we make a short walk to get to the boat that will take us over the float land when we are able to point all diverse animals where monkeys, caimans, Jesus Christ lizards and many birds species are easy to watch, Caño Negro it´s fill or surprises. This is a great tour for nature lovers, birders or customers who want to avoid long or hard hikes
