Description
We spend the first hour of this private tour on a brief City Tour that includes Chinatown, the Inner Harbour and Craigdarroch Castle. We then take a pleasant drive to the world-famous Butchart Gardens, which are about a 30 or 40 minute drive north of Victoria. Admissions to the Gardens are included and your guide will get you a garden map and take you to the iconic sunken garden, which was the first part of the garden to be developed, early in the 20th Century. Guests are able to explore these beautiful gardens at their leisure. Followed by a lovely afternoon high tea at the Gardens. Garden admissions and high tea are included in the tour. Great Day!
What a great day! We so enjoyed seeing the key sites in Victoria and hearing some of the history in its development. Then a stop at the castle, seeing the suburbs and coastal areas for a larger perspective of the area. Finally the extraordinary Butchhart Gardens in full bloom were amazing and the day was topped off with a wonderful English tea at the gardens - a beautiful setting and a lovely experience.

Book this for a personalized tour that picks you up and drops you off at your door and lets you decide how much time to spend at different locations. You will get friendly, professional, conversation with a guide who wants to develop a relationship with you to tailor the tour to what interests you most around Victoria. A great overview of the history and high points of the city. We got to go to the Butterfly Gardens, the Butchart Gardens and a wonderful high tea at Butchart Gardens overlooking a private garden. We learned so much about the history and development of the gardens and the various gardens, starting with the sunken garden. Our tour guide was expert in taking the perfect pictures of us at various locations. This was a luxurious, beautiful and perfect anniversary tour for us and we loved Graham. Everything was included in the cost (parking, entry fees and high tea costs. All we had to do was sit back and relax and walk around at our own pace.
