We were very pleased with the flight from Aviair and the guided tour into the Bungle Bungles. It was Rebecca who made the trip memorable for us with her expert knowledge of the area and her brilliant flying. I hope I have her name correct. She treated people with respect and was willing to help where needed. From a nurse to tour guide (Pilot), we were truly impressed. I recommend to fly with her anytime as she made the trip truly enjoyable and unforgettable. Thankyou Aviair.
A fantastic day at an iconic destination. Start to finish was seamless, complimentary pickup, the flight with pilot Emma, guides Bailey, Corey and especially Tony who was so funny, engaging and really cared about everyone enjoying themselves on the day. My husband will never forget being sung to on his 60th birthday! Well worth the money. Thank you Aviair for a wonderful experience. The actual walk to cathedral gorge was spectacular too!!
Everything was very professional from pick up, briefings, flights, food, drive, guides knowledge and experience! Food provided was excellent and especially lunch! The setting of Cathedral Gorge certainly added to the whole experience. Our pilots were amazing and we thank Sam for his excellent commentary and care Highly recommended as an option as we didn't want to drive in.
From pickup to drop off, this trip was worth every cent. Our Pilot was Rebecca and she was amazing. She went out of her way to make the flight comfortable and fun and her knowledge of the area was incredible. Her passion for her job was obvious. After landing, we had fresh muffins for morning tea. Then we were introduced to Tony who was our guide on and out of Cathedral gorge. We ate our lovely prepared lunch within the gorge. So so beautiful. After the walk out we were driven to the lodge, welcomed by the lovely Fran and given afternoon tea. Finally back to the airstrip and flown back to Kununurra. The view from the plane, coming and going, was like nothing I was prepared for. Lake Argyle is magnificent, the bungles are …. Prehistoric! And there was so much more. Thankyou Rebecca, Tony, Mason and Fran for helping make new memories for us.
Flight was excellent with good commentary except for the first leg due to problem with the headphones. Helicopter was awesome however we thought we would be flying a bit lower.
A very professional and safety focused team looking after us. The flight over the Carr Boyd ranges, Lake Argyle, the Osmond Range and the Bungle Bungles ranges was spectacular, with excellent commentary from our pilot. We landed at Bellburn remote airstrip and after a short bus hiked to the amazing Cathedral Gorge. Our guides Kayla and Tony provided a great overview of the geology and history of the unique and breathtaking Bungle Bungles. Highly recommend this trip from the air and on the ground.
Very well organised full day tour. Everything went on time. The flights were terrific. Such amazing landscape seen from the air. The pilot gave us very informative commentary. You see a wonderful patchwork of cultivated land including white cotton fields. Then Lake Argyle. It is VAST with many islands. Then Purnululu National Park with the amazing Bungle Bungles. Then onto a 4 wheeldrive bus and a hike to the spectacular Cathedral Gorge where we ate a healthy tasty lunch. Our guide was cheerful and concerned for our safety. The flight back went over the now closed Argyle diamond mine. Our pilot told us the scandalous story of theft from the mine and a lot about the land below - and we could hear it because the headphones were excellent quality. Great to be picked up and dropped from our accommodation too.
This was a great experience . The trip itself was great and the ground staff and flight crew were delightful to deal with. They went to a lot of effort to make this a safe and memorable trip.
Had a great flight with information given to us
What a wonderful experience from start to finish, just as the sun was rising. Our lady pilot was the best!
