Experience the magic of the holiday season at the Bronx Zoo’s Holiday Lights! This family-favorite event transforms the park into a winter wonderland with millions of dazzling lights and custom-designed animal lanterns. Guests may enter anytime between 1:00pm and 8:00pm. New for 2026: Live Animal Access at the Children’s Zoo Farmyard. Light Attractions: Walk six immersive Lantern Safaris past hundreds of animal lanterns, plus light tunnels, a musical holiday tree at Astor Court, and interactive glow walls at Dancing Crane Plaza. Entertainment: Slide down a snow tube and throw virtual snowballs at Giraffe Corner, catch ice-carving demos at Grizzly Corner, puppet shows at Dancing Crane Pavilion, and costumed light performers at Astor Court. Ride the Holiday Train around Fountain Circle ($4 fee). Treats: Hot chocolate, warm cider, eggnog, s’mores, and spiked seasonal drinks are sold on site. A cherished tradition for all ages and a don’t-miss celebration!
