The tour guide, Michael, was fantastic. Very energetic, knowledgeable and fun. He kept us engaged and motivated throughout the walk and despite being enthusiasts ourselves, we still learned a ton of the history that we hadn't gone back far enough to learn about previously. The three hours flew by, and there were enough a/c pit stops that we never felt overheated or overtaxed.
Thank you so much for joining us and leaving a review! We appreciate the feedback. *Jazz Hands!
Mike did an awesome job telling us the history of Broadway! He was really engaged and full of knowledge. We really appreciate Jared and enjoyed the time!

We took the 3 hour tour. It was long for what was covered. The same tour could be done in half the time. The tour guide, Mike, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The tour does not go inside the theaters which we knew ahead of time. For this reason we feel it could be shorter.
Thank you for joining us and providing feedback. We are always working on improving our tours. It is stated that we do not go into any theatres due to union rules. Hope you still enjoyed your time in the city!
Mike, our tour guide, is a walking encyclopedia of Broadway information. He knows an incredible amount about the theaters, their history, the plays that were performed, the actors, playwrights, and amazing stories. I would certainly recommend him as a tour guide. We had a wonderful tour!

We first booked a Broadway theatre-district tour in 2018 and just had to return for another one this summer. We specifically requested that Mike be our guide, as he has an amazing knowledge of all things theatre and is highly engaging and tour-guest focused!! We cannot wait to return for another tour with Mike in 2020!!
hey! Thanks for such a great review we LOVE that you share our love of Broadway! Hope to see you again soon next year!
Beware, you do not enter any theaters during this tour! This tour was not what we expected at all. Although our tour guide, Mike, was very knowledgeable about "all things Broadway", we had expected to see inside the theaters and that was not part of the tour at all. We stood outside the theathers and he showed us pictures on his cell phone. We had booked the entire first and second parts of this tour, but finally left Mike after about 3 hours and he still wasn't done. We did mention to Mike that we thought we were going to go inside theaters and see behind the scenes things and he said, "yes, I have heard that before". Maybe this is being marketed incorrectly. I don't think we were big enough theater enthusiasts to appreciate this tour. If you LOVE the theater and have seen lots of shows, this may be the tour for you! We were very disappointed.
Thank you for joining us on the tours. Yes, unfortunately we are not allowed inside the theatres due to liability issues and of course work calls and rehearsals but we are so happy you joined us and had a great time!
My daughter, her friend and I had the pleasure of taking a New York Broadway Tour (Act 3) for her birthday. We had a blast, despite the rain! Our tour guide, Mike, was so enthusiastic, knowledgeable about all things Broadway (past and present). He was eloquent and matched the level of craziness that my daughter has for everything on the great white way. We walked around the theater district, stopping at certain points for interesting tidbits and trivia. Mike had a tablet with him, on which he had uploaded pictures and videos relevant to the tour. It was helpful to have a visual to many of the subjects we were discussing. Although we are pretty well versed on many areas of entertainment and New York history, we learned SO many new things from Mike! I highly recommend this tour to anyone, no matter the level of knowledge! Thank you for a memorable birthday!
Thank you so very much for such a lovely review! We strive to recreate the past using our tablets and I'm so happy you enjoyed learning about the history with us. Hope to see you on another tour soon.
We visited New York during a heat wave and had to rush to meet our tour guide. It was certainly a case of “summer heat boy and girl(s) meet!” We were somewhat surprised to discover upon arrival that it was just the two of us and Mike, our tour guide. However, there were “no fits, no fights, no feuds and no egos!” We were “Amigos! Together!” Mike’s knowledge of musical theatre, both past and present, was sensational and his enthusiasm for his subject was infectious. We learned about ghosts, successful shows, unsuccessful shows and complete flops. The tour was advertised as lasting for 2 hours but, in fact, it lasted for 3 hours although the time passed in a flash. If you love musical theatre, this tour cannot be missed. The one thing Mike left us with was that you should “follow every rainbow, ‘til you find your dream”! Highly recommended.
So thrilled you had such a fantastic time with our rockstar guide Mikey! Come join us again sometime soon!
Amada, our tour guide and founder of New York Broadway Tours told us many amazing stories about past and present Broadway Musicals and Theaters. She knows soooo much about it and communicates her incredible knowledge in an enthusiastic, fun way!! It was freezing (approximately 15 degrees, windchill much lower), so we went to the famous "Broadway restaurant" Sardi's with so many drawings of famous Broadway stars on the walls where she continued her stories. I had SUCH A GREAT TIME listening to her stories and looking at the pictures trying to recognize Broadway stars!! I will definitely join Amada on other tours!!
Thank you for such an amazing review! We appreciated your business and hope you will get the chance to join us again :)
