Some specific rooms inside the museum are subjected to a very quiet or restricted right to speak inside, in this cases your guide will provide the information about this places before entering the specific rooms where this rule applies. Darcy was not only an expert on the history and displays in the Museum, but very engaging and humorous. He was available for any and all questions no matter what the subject. Though brutally hot and crowded that day, he made it enjoyable.
Excellent tour. No tour guide would be able to cover the whole British Museum in one day; however, Ivo did a great job of covering the most important highlights. It would have been overwhelming to go there without a guide. It was definitely worthwhile.
