Go to the north end and tour with Bobbie Agripino
Very disappointing. The guide was plugged and good with historical information but she took us to her favorite food restaurants which were very boring. Atone cheese shop we literally have melted cheese sandwiches would not recommend this tour.

Hi Jonathan,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While we're sorry our South End Food Tour wasn't the right fit for you, we're glad to hear you enjoyed your guide's knowledge and the historical commentary.
We noticed that the title of your review recommends another local food tour company. At Bites of Boston, we have tremendous respect for our fellow local businesses, including other food tour operators. We believe every Boston neighborhood tells a different story and offers its own unique history, architecture, culture, and culinary experience. We encourage visitors to explore as many of them as they can during their time in our city and believe every tour should be appreciated on its own merits.
Thanks again for joining us and we wish you all the best in your future travels.

Fun City Experience!
Christina was a great guide. My wife and I had a great time. We also had a great group of people which made it really fun. We even continued the tour without our guide and went to the cathedral across the street with our new friends. Great tour, great food and fun atmosphere. This is a fun way to learn about the city and try new foods.
Operator response
Thanks so much for the wonderful review! We're delighted you and your wife had such a great time with Christina in the South End. It sounds like you had a fantastic group, and we love that the experience continued even after the tour ended—making new friends and exploring the Cathedral together is exactly the kind of memorable day we hope our guests have. We appreciate you joining us and hope to welcome you back for another neighborhood adventure soon!

Fun to explore South End
Great way to explore the South End neighborhood. Tried 5 different spots and learn about the history of the area. Our guide Katie was very enthusiastic and fun! I went by myself and met some other great people on the tour. Good idea for an afternoon if you've already done all the "Freedom Trail" and North End sites.

Highly recommend tour and Natalie
This is a great tour of the South End. Natalie was an excellent tour guide, providing a mix of local history and information as well as letting us mingle with the rest of the group. The food stops were very good and definitely enough for an entire meal. I have done other tours with Taste of Boston and will continue to book with them. Highly recommend.

Lauren was a lovely tour guide. The food offered was a little carb/dessert heavy and offered less than other food tours, but delicious nonetheless.

Fun Food Tour in the South End!
The tour guide gave a great historical as well as food sampling tour of the South End. We had five food stops at unique and popular restaurants/markets, which was more than enough food for both lunch and dinner. In addition to giving 'behind the scenes' stories about the history of the restaurants and how the owners built their way to success, she also gave fascinating stories about the history of South End, individual landmarks and houses, and the cultural shifts from one period of time to another. A lot packed into a few hours!
Operator response

We’re so glad you joined us and hope to welcome you back again soon!
